Great location. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room. Breakfast was excellent Staff was very helpful. Wonderful view

Fantastic location within walking distance of the castle, restaurants and shops. Ubers always arrived quickly with very friendly drivers. Hotel had a nice restaurant.

It was very spacious, clean and it had an amazing view of the castle that we didn’t expect.
It was very hot last night so air con wouldve been nice to have as the fan didnt help much.

Stayed for 3 nights in July and it was quite good overall , but the room was stuffy no air con and we needed to have the window open so we had a lot of noise from the street.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was decent and the staff was approachable. In fact they kept my forgotten items safe with them to collect upon return.
On the third day the garbage next to the trash can which could not fit in bin was kept in a bag to collect was not picked up. That’s the only thing but I will let it fly considering other positive things.

Was expensive but suspect this was market forces with Robbie Williams in Edinburgh as everywhere was expensive. Excellent location. Air-conditioning in room would have been preferable as it was a warm period.

The castle view from the room was stunning! Alistair on check in was very helpful kind and thoughtful. They also let us stay another night last minute in the same room and were very helpful in accommodating that. Have stayed in different Apex hotels before and this was by far the best!
The area around the windows looked like it was crumbling and falling apart.
