I am writing to express our deep disappointment regarding the room we were assigned during our recent stay at your hotel. This trip was intended to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my partner and me, but the incorrect room allocation has significantly impacted our enjoyment.
We had specifically booked a superior room with a castle view in the Apex Grassmarket Hotel,to make this occasion special, but instead, we were given a small room in the Apex City Hotel. This oversight has caused considerable upset, particularly for my partner, as it detracted from the experience we had eagerly anticipated.
We kindly request an explanation for this error and ask how you can address this matter to restore our confidence in your establishment. We hope to resolve this amicably and ensure future guests do not face similar issues.

Excellent location and food. Management were fantastic when I mentioned that we were visiting for a birthday celebration.
Room didn’t appear to have AC, so got quite warm, but there was a plug-in disk fan which did cool down the room a bit.

Location in Grassmarket is perfect. Very close to Royal Mile and major sites of interest. I had a castle view room and the night time view of the castle from my window was spectacular - well worth paying the extra just for that. Room was comfortable, staff were helpful. Enjoyed my 10 night stay.
