Excellent location. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. We saved money by not getting a castle view room. But I wished we had a view.

Fantastic location - within walking distance of all the sights in Edinburgh. Room was a good size and clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was nice but would prefer fresh tea and coffee rather than machines.

Room was unbearably hot, on a cold day in April. I would hate to stay there in summer! TV didn’t work, bathroom plugs broken. Barely slept due to the heat and left ahead of a long drive, feeling exhausted. Paid extra for a castle view room but the windows were filthy. Disappointing and overpriced

Location, beautiful view from the window in the family room.
The lockers in the pool area were not working. We found only one. The light in the shower did not work. ( lady room)
The bath door could be painted from the inside and also top of the mirror was badly scratched for 4* hotel

Close to the centre, clean, comfotable, swiming pool and car park. However, i did not swimming this time.
