Location
Smoking area was right by the open door so the lobby smelled like smoke. Too many stairs in the lobby no ramps. Hard to get luggage up steps. Dirty and old lobby and rooms. Showers didn’t hold the water leaked all over floor.

It was ideally located as all the best parts of the city were so easy to access and the view of the castle was spectacular. It was also clean and super comfortable.
We arrived in the rain after a loooong transatlantic flight and had to wait a little while for room to be ready. Sitting in the lobby made the trip feel epic and my daughter passed out from fatigue. Jet lag delays aside, we had an amazing time and will go back.

Location was amazing. Easy access to everything. Staff very friendly, professional and accommodating. Did not have any meals at hotel restaurant, so unable to comment on that. But on street with many cafes, restaurants and shops. Comfy beds.

The location close to Edinburgh Castle, Victoria st and the Royal Mile.
The room was excessively warm, even with the radiator adjusted and the fan operating. The bathtub posed a challenge due to its height, making entry and exit difficult, while the shower's lack of doors led to water spilling onto the bathroom floor. The alternative room we were moved to, which was labeled as handicap accessible, featured a shower stall with the doors removed resulting water to flow everywhere. In addition, the room emitted an unpleasant odor. Overall, my stay was disappointing, requiring me to reach out to the front desk on a daily basis, and the images of the room on the website did not accurately reflect the reality. I am very disappointed with the amount I paid. I would like to request for a refund or credit.
