Location! Location! Just a few meters away from Victoria street and a lots of pubes at Grassmarket

Great location and it was nice having a pool to relax in after a day exploring. On site parking was nice to have and seemed reasonably priced.
The bed wasn't very comfy. We asked for hypoallergenic pillows (non feather) and were told none were available which led to a poor sleep during our stay. There was also some confusion with house keeping requests.
No individual room control for heating.

Perfect location with an amazing view of the castle. Staff are friendly and helpful, will always look to stay here when in Edinburgh.

Disappointing
The location was great. Quite central to everything.
The room was not cleaned, only the beds were made but towels were not changed, bins were not emptied, used glasses were not removed and replaced and bathroom/toilet were also not clean. Very disappointing, considering how much was charged!

Location & staff are amazing. We have also had food here and it was so tasty I’d definitely recommend.
The only complaint I have is that the bed was really hard and uncomfortable. We have stayed at Apex Grassmarket many times but this time the bed was awful. We paid extra for the castle facing, balcony room and expected it to be more comfortable.
