Marina, in housekeeping, was particularly welcoming and greeted me warmly each day I was there. She helped me figure out how to use everything in the room (the coffee machine and keeping the key card in the slot by the front door.) Front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful and gave me great suggestions for restaurants (I was a solo traveler.) Loved the view of the Castle from my room and the tables set up outside on the plaza in front on sunny days and the many booths selling local wares. Great location!
Had to go next door for breakfast (not that much of an inconvenience.) Towel rack in bathroom very hot--maybe post a warning.

The room we got was on second floor and overlooking the parking and bins, lots of noise coming from the air conditioning unit. Breakfast was not the best, not many options, eggs were served cold.

Amazing Location, right in the middle of everything. Victoria street 2 mins away. Edinburgh castle views from the hotel room. The rooms are big and modern and kept very clean. We had an amazing stay.
