The location is absolutely fantastic. Staff is very helpful and room gets cleaned daily. Free watertap available in the hotel and we were able to use the swimming pool of the other Apex hotel just next door for free.
The restaurant was not open, so we ate at the restaurant of the Apex hotel next door

Hotel is in perfect location for exploring the city! Staff are amazing we were greeted by Amos who offered us a warm welcome advised us on local attractions & couldn't do enough to accommodate us! Breakfast was great everything freshly served & coffee was amazing

Great staff all over the hotel.
Great breakfast. Plenty of choice and the restaurant staff worked hard to make sure all was well and the guests were looked after.
Loved the fact that there was water stations in the common areas too, where you could fill your water bottles.
Parking was easy and right next to the hotel, although a little pricey at £20 per day
Decor in room and common areas needs a slight refurb. Looks a little dated. Breakfast started too late for us as we were on an early-ish excursion. Breakfast bags were offered, which we accepted. No room service out of hours.
Too expensive. Our room was £200 per night....at most, I'd say worth £150, but I would say the reason for the price is because of it's location...the capital of Scotland, in much the same way that rooms in London are pricier than say, Liverpool and that it is in the centre of plenty of other things going on.
