Great breakfast offering s large menu selection.
Perfect poached eggs.
The room was a little small which is why only a standard double was fitted.
The eco and reductions in carbon emissions was very noticeable

Terrific location close to restaurants, Fringe Festival venues and many attractions. Hop-on/off bus stops right outside. 24hr check in was helpful when our flight was delayed. Also handy to be able to leave bags after checkout until our flight.

I liked the executive lounge feature. I also liked having a bathtub and a shower to choose from.
The view wasn't great, I had a room facing their courtyard. The options for food in the area were very slim.

Location, location, location. Nice staff. Clean. Elevators!!! Free drink with stay.
For the price of these rooms they should have usb chargers or adaptors.

The location was brilliant.
It was tired, grubby and overpriced. The water pressure in our room was terrible, the shower had cracked tiles and black mould, paint was peeling off the door and there were stains on the carpet. This was not the standard I would expect for a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing.

Wonderful
Breakfast was delicious. We both had a cooked breakfast. I asked if I could have my Eggs Benedict on sourdough rather than muffins which was no problem at all.
There were plenty fluffy white towels, ironing board & iron. The bed was very comfortable & cosy.
There was nothing that we didn’t like. We weren’t in the room for a long period, as we came down for the tattoo, so late to bed & early start to head home in the morning.
But we have booked our Tattoo tickets for 2026 & a room at The Apex again
