The location of hotel is perfect! The hotel is close to all attractions. There is a private parking in the hotel. The room is big and clear.
The air-conditioning is not working. The windows cannot be opened, it feels stuffy and hot.

Heat was on on the 3rd floor. Room was super warm. I was offered opportunity to move if I upgraded room. Not the best.

Close to the city center and Royal Mile.
There was no AC in our bedroom, which made it very stuffy and hot, especially after anyone uses the shower. They provided a small fan, but it does not cool down the room at all. Overall, sleeping at night was very uncomfortable. Also requested two beds, but they were basically right next to one another with less than an inch separation. It was not a problem for me, but may be inconvenient depending on who you are sharing the room with.

Extremely disappointed to be given an extremely hot room with a fan on full power on arrival.
After telephoning reception we were informed a room with A/C was available but that an extra charge of £20 would be needed. After paying £362 for a twin room for one night this seems excessive profiteering!
However, as we are both elderly we felt we had to accept the terms as staying in the allocated would not be good for our health due to the extreme heat!

The location was perfect! Car parking was a huge bonus for us, allowing us to park up and enjoy walking around Edinburgh. So close to the action!

Property is centrally located. Staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast also good. Staff changed towers everyday. An extra electric fan was brought in to the room. Reception and concierge staff helpful.
No airconditioning. We were given electric fans which just recirculates the air in the room. There is a actually no need for aircon or fans as the temp is low at night but the window can only be opened for like half inch not even for 4 inches to let the air in. So it was uncomfortably warm inside the room. We didnt use the blankets.
The bathroom has a faint smell of urine upon entry. Which means the bathroom is cleaned everyday but not thoroughly.
Filtered water for the carafe is dispensed by the elevator area along the hallway. Its good but ALL hotels we stayed at in Europe has sealed bottles of water ready for the guests' consumption. No need to fetch water each time. I feel that the hotel does not really think of the guests's needs.
