Great location close to Royal Mile, Restruants and shops, very helpful staff and good-sized room. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in the perfect location, and would highly recommend it.
Our room didn't have air conditioning, and it got a little warm one night. Apparently there are rooms with A/C though, so be sure to request one in the summer.

Great location at Grassmarket where you’re close to many restaurants and some major streets for shopping. Main shopping district and art galleries within a short walk. Very close to transport hubs and easy to find. Found a car park at sister hotel. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent cafes nearby.
A bit of a noisy area that eventually settles down. Paying £20 for one night of parking on top of pricy accommodation excluding breakfast. Value wasn’t there.

The room was comfortable, quiet and well-appointed. The location was excellent, right in the heart of all one would want to see in Old Town. Eating (a very good) breakfast in front of a 10' window that looked up directly to Edinburgh Castle was a thrill.
Pretty pricey, which was more or less baked in to the location and day of the week. One incident, which was probably a one-off, was a carload of yobs who threw batteries from a moving car at the entrance when we coming in, was a little off-putting. However, security was on it and it didn't reflect on our impression of the safety of the location.

Great location. Room was a good size for a family.
The family room was on the 1st floor next to the heating/air conditioning units and the parking lot. We were unable to sleep due to the noise from both of these.
