Comfy bed and good bathroom.
Friendly staff.
No air con and room was very hot even in May. Windows on to street with too much traffic noise to leave open.
Over-priced given there was nothing that was exceptional (just good).

Location was excellent.
Reception desk staff were pleasant and professional.
The condition of the bathroom in the room was below par. The paint on the door was in terrible condition and needs repainting.
There was a lot of grout missing from in between the tiles on the floor of the shower and it looked dreadful.

The location of this facility was A+. You step out the door and you are in Grassmarket Square. Easy walk to the Royal. Mile. Plenty of taxis if you want/need a ride. This facility has limited parking, but we were able to park at the sister hotel that is just a block down the road.

Nice hotel in the heart of Edinburgh!
Against the information on the bopoking webpage, the room turned out to lack airconditioning, while I specifically booked a room with airconditioning. Fortunately the reception confirmed that the booking site was unclear about this, and we were booked into another room with airconditioning. Good service! NOte to hotel: make sure this information is correct on your website! More and more people want/need/expect the comfort of a cool room at night!

The location couldn’t be any better! The room is specious and comfortable, good amenities and staff are really friendly.
The bar and restaurant were shut even though it was a bank holiday marathon weekend.

It was in a fantastic location, the room was clean, modern, warm and it had everything that we expected. The staff were friendly to deal with.
The location was slightly confusing. The car GPS took us next door, the car park was very tight to move around. Cleaning staff took our room key and we had to get this cancelled and re issued. The hotel should recommend more restaurants, pubs and things to see.
