the location is near most of attraction, the room is clean and silent for had a good sleep, the breakfast had some choices and we chose breakfast with complete items

Breakfast was delicious. Loved the fresh fruit selection. The cooked option was great too as it included my favourite, eggs Benedict, but also had lovely waffles. The coffee selection was also more varied than I'm used to. It was a lot of good things for a good price.
I had the room adapted for disabilities despite not needing it so it was extra roomy but the low sink and the massive entrance felt weird. I prefer a cosier environment. Not an actual negative, just a preference.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning of our stay. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with information. We loved the old city location which was in the center of the Haymarket area with many pubs and restaurants and an easy walk to many sites (the Castle and Royal Mile).

Centrally located near Edinburgh Castle (15 min uphill walk with lots of steps), close to shops/restaurants and the Royal Mile. Clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Omelette was great. If room is hot and you have window open then you can hear the noise from Grassmarket street. Street noise seemed minimal if windows closed.

Everything is great in this hotel: convenient location, nice clean rooms, attentive staff, breakfast provides everything you need.
The stay was very comfortable overall. The only minor issues were that the doors tended to close quite loudly, and on this visit, the central air conditioning system was a bit noisier than usual and didn’t switch off.

The location of the hotel was great, and the reception staff were very helpful – they kindly stored our luggage and even gave us a late check-out, which we really appreciated.
The room didn’t live up to our expectations. It had an unpleasant smell, the bed wasn’t comfortable, and there were constant noises, like water dripping, which made it hard to relax. It also didn’t quite match the photos online, a little bit outdated.
