Very Good
Location was excellent for a sole traveller/single parent & child. On a lovely square with lots of eateries, shops and bars. The room was very clean and well presented, bed was sooo comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with the usual cereals, juices and hot food. However, there was also an inclusive additional menu for those not wanting the traditional food. Staff were exceptional.
I would have like to see lactose free yogurt to have with the fresh fruit provided.

The hotel was in a great location with gorgeous views of Edinburgh castle and was within walking distance to many sights, restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were lovely. The cute rubber ducks were a sweet welcome gift and we also appreciated the water refill station next to the lifts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Edinburgh.

Nice breakfast Room comfortable enough, nothing special, standard hotel room.
I would have preferred to be the other side of the castle, in the new town. It seemed very expensive for what it was, £900 for two nights for one room. But I think this is normal in Edinburgh.

The room was beautiful. (2104)
The room had no air conditioning. The window was open. I left it open for the night but got no sleep because of the motor in the car park yard. Next night, I closed the window. I slept for a while but woke up as the room became hot, airless and stuffy. So I opened the window and got no more sleep. The hotel knows full well of the problem. The receptionist made that clear as I checked out and mentioned the problem. Yet the manager who replied to my on-stay feed back said that she recognised how important good sleep was, especially in an hotel. Yet she knew that room 2104 was noisy all night. Too noisy for sleep.

I would love it if hotels would go back to offering transportation to/from the airport as part of the stay!

The location was wonderful, our room had a view of the castle, and everything was within walking distance. Very clean. The breakfast had many options and looked amazing.
We weren't given notice of street closures due to a 10 k race on the day of our departure, so had to scramble to make alternate arrangements for transport to the airport on time. Our room was quite warm overnight and we couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioner.

Fantastic location. It was an easy walk to everything. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The staff throughout the hotel were professional and yet friendly and helpful.
