The Adagio location was fantastic, within walking distance of all the tourist highlights! Our room was spotless and so quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The apart-hotel accommodation option was perfect for our needs allowing us to eat in and out! I would highly recommend it.

The room needs attention....significant mildew on the bathroom ceiling and wall tiles within the shower enclosure. Some fittings were deteriorated or missing, requiring replacement. Paper corners finishing the joints of plasterboard were open and peeling from the plasterboard; not cm's, but meters of the stuff!! The fitness center is a small room with about 6 pieces of equipment; dismal by any measure. Housekeeping is available at an additional charge - WTF! And, most miserable of all, there is no coffee in the rooms - pay Reception £1 per pod of Nespresso, or £2 per cup for machine coffee in the breakfast room. I wouldn't complain if the accomodation were a budget offering, but it is not at £300+ per night!!!!!!!

Location was perfect for us. Parking was a bit of a challenge but worked out fine once we found it.
Room was pretty cramped for four people. We all just had a carry-on bag and there was really nowhere to put/store everyone's luggage.

We loved the apartment/studio #334. Great space, wonderful kitchen, and amazing big windows and view. Terrific location. If we ever come back I want the same room!
My only complaints are that one of the lifts did not work and the hall carpets were stained and unattractive - particularly in the lobby. Needs a good cleaning.

The room was a good size despite having a mini kitchen built in. The facilities were excellent. Cooking for self catering was easily done. The bed and bedding were extremely comfy. The hotel was quiet and the staff really friendly and helpful.
I am not keen on coffee pod machines so don't use it and would have preferred a cafetière in the room. On reflection I could have asked for one!

Excellent location at slightly less touristy end of the Royal Mile, easy walk from Waverley Station. Beautiful building with an interesting history, very nicely renovated. We stayed for 10 days, so I used the kitchenette more than most people might, and found it reasonably well-equipped.

Excellent location. Clean rooms and staff was attentive. Good price for such a central location. Room was warm and had a nice view.
The water temperature in the shower was scalding hot and as much as we tried we couldn't find a way to turn it down. The bed was one of those beds you can put away, which meant there was a permanent gap between the bed and the wall. It made it a bit uncomfortable to sit on the bed to watch tv. The room was clean, but they don't offer housekeeping service unless you ask for it and pay.

The room contained all you could need for a stay.
Didn’t have breakfast but gladly had some free fruit as we left.
