Excellent location! Wonderful staff! Quiet rooms! The apartment/room was well designed for the four nights we stayed. Breakfast was a normal but good breakfast. I will return!

The best of the hotel is its location, which is in the heart of the Royal Mile. The room (with a basic kitchen) was very clean and spacious. All staff members were very nice and professional.

The location is amazing. Steps away from all the pubs, restaurants and shops on the Royal Mile. The Edinburgh Castle is just up the road and the Chocolaterium is around the block. The room has a small kitchenette, and it was clean and tidy. The elevators are fast and modern.
We booked a standard room for 4 nights and the sleeping area was pretty tight, specially after we had two suitcases open, our window was very small compared to others. The bed is actually a Murphy bed that can turn into a couch, although we never did that. Next time we will look into paying a bit more for an upgraded room at this hotel.

You can’t beat the location in the middle of Royal Mile. After walking back and forth all day, it was nice to have a close hotel. Staff are friendly.
But warm at nighttime but we come from a cold climate where we keep our windows open when it’s down in the 40’s F at nighttime.

The laundry facility, the location, and staff, are excellent.
The hotel needs a good cleaning. The lobby chairs and carpets, throughout are soiled. The WI-FI is spotty, at best. The bed sheets are in need of an upgrade.

The location is excellent.
The room and the bathroom were not clean. There was puke on the bathroom wall near the toilet. There were no basics like coffee provided. The coffee kettle was broken along with the tile heater. We had to come to reception to get toilet paper. There was no housekeeping. We didn’t know what to do with garbage. This was a hostel level “hotel” that was way overpriced for what it provided. Do not recommend.

Right on royal mile but not in busy party zone. Large apartment room with pull out couch and two twin beds. Kitchen well stocked if you want to cook. Laundry room wasn’t and and economical.

SO many places to put things and so many amenities. Perfect location for sight-seeing or just visiting in Edinburgh. My room had a Murphy bed and I loved that. Also, it was quiet, I couldn't hear my neighbors or the tourists outside.

Would've been great if there had been some USB outlets and an regular (non-shaver) outlet in the bathroom.

Overall location was great. Room was quiet. Amenities were very good.
Would have liked a sheet on the bed along with the comforter. The room did not cool below 20 C and it took a long time to reach that when it had been off for a while.
