Overall location was great. Room was quiet. Amenities were very good.
Would have liked a sheet on the bed along with the comforter. The room did not cool below 20 C and it took a long time to reach that when it had been off for a while.

Location was fantastic!
Bathroom sink was clogged the whole time. Poor water pressure in the shower. The sofa bed covers did not look washed. They charge for cleaning the rooms and even the laundry was an extra charge. We wanted to check out an hour later and my husband and I got different responses where I was told I needed to pay extra for it while he was told that it’s fine. Felt scammy. But the rooms had AC and were comfortable otherwise. Loved the convenient location.

I had an excellent stay at Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh, and I would happily stay here again.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and of a very high standard, making it a pleasure to stay here.
The location is another major advantage. It is less than a 10-minute walk to both the city centre and Edinburgh’s Old Town, and Edinburgh Castle is also within easy walking distance. While Edinburgh’s streets are naturally quite hilly, the hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the city’s main attractions on foot.
The staff were outstanding throughout my stay—professional, welcoming, and always willing to help with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Between its outstanding cleanliness, excellent location, and exceptional staff, I would definitely choose to stay at Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Nice location on a quieter part of the Royal Mile. Convenient to get to/from the train station. We could walk to the castle and there was a small shop close by to get food.
The rooms are tiny - even by European standards. With a two-room and a family of four, we were very cramped and uncomfortable. The towel rack heater was broken (for the whole hotel due to an electrical glitch). No one told us you have to turn on the switch to the refrigerator, and we lost food because it wasn't on. The lighting was bad, and the dishwasher was broken, so we had to do all our dishes by hand. They only have nespresso machines in the room and you can only get the capsules from the front desk and they charge a pound per capsule. The rooms were extremely expensive so I didn't feel we got good value. If I had it to do over again I would have looked further off the royal mile to see if I could get a more comfortable room.

We loved how close it was to all the sites we wanted to see. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
I think breakfast should be included for every guest even if you’re only staying for four days.

Spacious. Close to all attractions. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Held luggage after check out, helped with taxi ordering.
There was a hot water issue. Took 2 days for them to fix. But staff was able to provide another room until issue was fixed after we made a fuss about it. Could have handled it better.

The location is great and the staff was friendly
The in room safe was broken and was never repaired even though we asked about it the first day. It was unbearably hot in our room the whole time. We were locked out of adjusting the thermostat to properly cool the room and I question if it was actually functioning.

Great location! Only problems is the bed was pretty firm, too hard for my liking, and the temperature did not get very cold. That being said, windows can be opened, which helps cool things down. And it doesn’t get too hot in Edinburgh at all. No lift trouble

Great location on quieter part of The Royal Mile. Large, clean, quiet room with full kitchen. Within walking distance of all major sights, and close enough that we walked from Waverly Railway Station, with our checked bags, from the station to the hotel. A wee bit expensive, but worth it for the location and convenience. Very helpful staff. Our train to Oban didn't leave till mid-afternoon, but they let us leave our bags after checkout so we still had half a day to explore more of Edinburgh. Would definitely stay here again.
Didn't have breakfast at hotel, since it seemed simple and expensive, but there are many cafes and restaurants in the area.
