The laundry facility, the location, and staff, are excellent.
The hotel needs a good cleaning. The lobby chairs and carpets, throughout are soiled. The WI-FI is spotty, at best. The bed sheets are in need of an upgrade.

The location is excellent.
The room and the bathroom were not clean. There was puke on the bathroom wall near the toilet. There were no basics like coffee provided. The coffee kettle was broken along with the tile heater. We had to come to reception to get toilet paper. There was no housekeeping. We didn’t know what to do with garbage. This was a hostel level “hotel” that was way overpriced for what it provided. Do not recommend.

Right on royal mile but not in busy party zone. Large apartment room with pull out couch and two twin beds. Kitchen well stocked if you want to cook. Laundry room wasn’t and and economical.

SO many places to put things and so many amenities. Perfect location for sight-seeing or just visiting in Edinburgh. My room had a Murphy bed and I loved that. Also, it was quiet, I couldn't hear my neighbors or the tourists outside.

Would've been great if there had been some USB outlets and an regular (non-shaver) outlet in the bathroom.

Location was fantastic!
Bathroom sink was clogged the whole time. Poor water pressure in the shower. The sofa bed covers did not look washed. They charge for cleaning the rooms and even the laundry was an extra charge. We wanted to check out an hour later and my husband and I got different responses where I was told I needed to pay extra for it while he was told that it’s fine. Felt scammy. But the rooms had AC and were comfortable otherwise. Loved the convenient location.

I had an excellent stay at Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh, and I would happily stay here again.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and of a very high standard, making it a pleasure to stay here.
The location is another major advantage. It is less than a 10-minute walk to both the city centre and Edinburgh’s Old Town, and Edinburgh Castle is also within easy walking distance. While Edinburgh’s streets are naturally quite hilly, the hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the city’s main attractions on foot.
The staff were outstanding throughout my stay—professional, welcoming, and always willing to help with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Between its outstanding cleanliness, excellent location, and exceptional staff, I would definitely choose to stay at Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
