Excellent all round! Everything clean, comfortable and welcoming friendly hosts. Wonderful breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location for Edinburgh and Stirling. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Ease of check in.
Room was well equipped and comfortable. Lovely little touches - jug of milk in mini fridge (a mini fridge!) with some bottled water.
Although on main road, room was quiet. Excellent transport links to Princes Street (43 Lothian bus from Clermiston Drive stop near guest house)
Super friendly hosts and great breakfast.

A tiny thing - Just found the temperature in shower hard to regulate- a little too hot.
And perhaps a little holder to put shower gel/ soap etc in shower?

Room clean and well maintained
Nice touches with the bottles of water and tea and coffee
Shower in takes a little while to figure out but once you get it on it has good temperature and pressure
Walls too thin can hear everything going on next door
I'm not a huge fan of key lock doors however this is just a personal preference (I prefer keycard)

Our engineers really liked staying here. The room was clean + tidy. And was in a great location with which to access the local shopping centre, where they were installing Air conditioning. The host was friendly + welcoming. Gaining access to the toom via a security box, was straightforward, with clear + concise instructions. Would definitely stay again. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

It was close to the airport making it convenient to return rental car for an early flight. There was free onsite parking available for our car. The room had a refrigerator and the staff gave us small milk container for tea. Tea pot, teas, sugar and cups were provided. Easy to get in using lock box to retrieve room key.
Traffic is very heavy on Queensferry road between 4-6 pm with people leaving the city. If arriving from the west on Queensferry road almost impossible to turn right across two lanes of bumper to bumper cars into the property parking. We had to drive a mile past the lodge to be able to turn around because road filled with cars, then slow progress back to the lodge for a left turn into property, (recommend try to approach the lodge from the east on Queensferry road for an easy left turn into parking area, or dont arrive during heavy commute time). Road traffic noise stayed heavy during the evening so I had to wear earplugs when sleeping, (earplugs were supplied in the room).

Small but adequate room with good facilities. Very clean.Very accommodating
Hosts. Information folder in room provides travellers with good information
on transport options into Old Town and local eating and shopping options.
Good breakfast options and ample parking.
Park the car up .Bus straight outside the door to anywhere in Edinburgh and great village through the park with great pubs and supermarket.

My room was easily accessible, clean and comfortable. Despite being on a busy road my sleep was not disturbed by traffic noise. Arrangements for access and leaving at odd times worked very well. I left to go to the airport at 5am without any hitch. There was room to park my car also.
As the road is quite busy I had some difficulty in finding Acer Lodge, despite the prominent sign.
