Perfect location to walk around and see all the main attractions. Restaurants near by were great! David and May are wonderful hosts that helped me out with any inquiries, and always responded quickly to my messages. Beautiful accommodations also.
No complaints. Only some stairs to manage but they’re very helpful if needed.

The house is gorgeous, super clean and the owners are very kind. It's very well located and you cand find coffee, tea, milk and a kettle in the compartment next to the bed.
I wish the orange cat appeared sooner! :p
Visually speaking, the mirror-like furniture in the bedroom it's a little "confusing".

The host was very friendly, and had lots of tips about where to go for food and entertainment! Beds were comfortable, and bedding changed daily.

Traces of animal hair led to allergic reaction on first night. Bathroom was v small. Wish there was breakfast offered but not really that big a deal as there are options nearby.

We were incredibly impressed with our stay with David, his wife and A Room in the City! We were only in Edinburgh for 24 hours and were sad to leave the comfort and fabulousness this space provided. The location is extremely walkable and close to everything you could want to do / see. If not, a short uber or taxi away. David was so welcoming and accomodating and the space itself was beautifully decorated. Our suite was right off of the patio with plenty of space, natural light and a very comfortable bed. We hope to come back sometime soon!

The location was great and made the city very walkable. The room and bed were very conformable and gave us ample space to open up our larger luggage. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags before and after checkout.

This place was absolutely fantastic. You could not fault it. It was exceptional in every way. Spotlessly clean and comfortable beyond words. Location was perfect with easy access to everywhere. Hosts were considerate and helpful. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Totally unique, beautiful accommodation that the hosts should be proud of.
