Excellent location for Playhouse Theatre. Room very comfortable. Staff super friendly and helpful.
Only staying for one night otherwise wardrobe inadequate for two people for a longer stay.

Location great ..I had informed hotel that coming through to see show for my friends birthday and staff left balloons and a lovely postcard in room for her arriving... nice touch…staff lovely and helpful…we arrived earlier than expected and thought would leave luggage at hotel but young lady at desk gave us the room key and allowed us into room which was fab..didn’t use breakfast facilities.. would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends
A bit noisy with traffic but had ear plugs that staff had left in a little box so used them and it muffled the sound

The location was terrific and I felt like I received value, given the high prices in Ediburgh. Our view was beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Parking was available nearby, but at a daily rate (full city pricing). I thought this might be the case and it is reasonable but more clarity for future guests would help.

Cozy hotel with great view of the river. The cow decorations were cute. I felt I went back in time due to perfect location around beautiful architecture.

Room was fine. Location was good.
The staff was extremely unfriendly and unaccommodating. Throughout our whole 2 week trip in Scotland we stayed in over 8 hotels and we were amazed at how friendly everyone was but the staff here at 28 York Place was very unfriendly. Will never go back here again and will not recommend to anyone.
