Located less than a minute's walk from ExCeL London, the Sunborn London is a floating super-yacht hotel docked in Royal Victoria Dock, boasting free WiFi access, a bar and a restaurant. Location, bed was comfy, room was very clean. Breakfast was good. Staff were attentive.
The top 2 decks were closed our entire stay, we could only have drinks served outside on deck 3 which is a very small area for the amount of guests. Bathroom step was a trip hazzard and was not signed.

i thought the staff were amazing, everyone was so polite and helpful. the breakfast was lovely and we were fortunate enough to get seating with a view both mornings. bedroom was lovely and very clean and tidy.
Bed was a little bit uncomfortable but nothing worth complaint about. Was a bit warm through the night because the ac only operates certain hours but that’s almost unavoidable in the heat.

Breakfast time was a shambles (reminded me of queues at school) One long table with cold foods and hot foods. Separate tables would surely be more effective. The lifting of lids on casserole pots to obtain hot food took far too long. The noise made from lids banging was echoed through the dining room !!!

The Sunborn Yacht was a refreshing change and something different from the usual places we had stayed in the past. Set in an idealic location, it had everything we needed and more. Transport links via the DLR/ Underground were literally a 5 minute walk away and were about 10 to 15 minutes away from central London. The river views and picturesque scene of the Canary Wharf Skyline were our backdrop from the deck,where we enjoyed a drink and a bite to eat in the restaurant. Our room was very spacious with a very large and comfortable bed which was very welcoming after a long trip in the hot summer sunshine.A cooked breakfast was available in the morning and staff were very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Looking around at the usual hotels and pricing, we would highly recommend a stay onboard The Sunborn as it really was value for money.

Very friendly staff, comfortable executive room with robes and slippers . Good size shower room with shelves for lotions and potions. Plenty of storage in wardrobe and shelving. Coffee machine, biscuits and complimentary water. Good breakfast with fish choice as well as full English, fruit, cereals etc. Convenient to icloud cable car.
Limited menu in restaurant but good choice in bar.

Staff helpful at reception and room clean
Had afternoon rea there not worth the £40 each and had to keep asking for tea extra..When it was time to book in for room was told it was not ready as there system had not updated. Did get a complimentary drink. Breakfast was cold .
