We were traveling as a group of 3. The room as we went in was only set up for 2 people apart from the bed situation, so not a brilliant start, had to go down to reception and they weren't overly warm people to ask for a third cup, glass, towel set, water and more tea bags etc. The cleaners then brought us some more within 15 minutes and was nice etc.Then when I came back to the room.we noticed the toilet was totally separate to the rest of the bathroom and had no sink to wash hands in room 333, that's a cleanliness issue (not so much if a solo traveler) however we were 3 friends. We had to walk out of the toilet, by the bed and open the door to the rest of the bathroom and then wash our hands. There should be a sanitizer in there if this is the case, when I mentioned after we checked out a bit of advice regarding this the receptionist looked bored and she didn't really note my concerns for future guests. Just some feedback it was.

The hotel was very close to the train line with good connection to London center. It was also very close to the London City Airport though reaching by foot would not be as pleasant as expected when travelling late in the evening in the middle of January. We used a bus, which was perfect and inexpensive. Train would be even easer and faster.
The hotel looked much better on the photo than reality. The area was very empty during January when we were visiting. The hotel seemed to be not crowdy at all, we barely saw people during our stay. However, when asked to have two single beds instead of one double 2 months before our arrival, the hotel told they would accommodate this upon availability. Unfortunately, they did not. Not a big deal, but would have been a nice touch to the overall service if they put a small effort to make a difference. Some items were not working in the room: the washing sink was blocking, the reading light at the bedside did not work, the small fridge was not cooling either. We asked the staff to fix the fridge because we had medicine to keep in cold place but were told that it was not a fridge but the cooler, so everything is OK with it, even though it kept water in room temperature. Next morning I put my three requests in writing, so the "cooler" was fixed and started to cool, the sink was unblocked, but the reading light has never been fixed. The garbage was removed from the trash bin, but left forgotten on the sink. The bedding was clean, but had some spots that probably could not wash out with normal washing. Some better cleaning would be appreciated. The hotel (or at least our room) hardly reached 3 stars, definitely not 4...

Disappointing
The lobby was very nice and clean while the carpet in the room had several big stains as it someone had vomited and it was stained in different areas on both rooms that I rented.
When I rented I thought I paid for two bedroom with kitchen, little deck, washer, for my 3 teenagers and self and what I got was two separate small rooms with nothing of what I mentioned.

1- Breakfast very limited selection.
2- Cleaning the room was not perfect, tea dirty cups were replaced with others that were not clean, when i showed that to the lady who cleaned the room, she just took a cloth and shined them.. i don't know what was cleaned with that cloth before !!
3- the walls of the bath were very transparent, no privacy !!

Wonderful
Really nice hotel, conveniently located near the metro. We got an excellent price so made a great deal. The area is peaceful and it's about 30min with Elizabeth line from the center. The room was very decent for London standards and the beds super comfy.

The breakfast was exceptional.
Close to Excel Centre and the great show: The Last Days of Pompeii. Close to the Elizabeth line for transportation around London and to Heathrow. Walking distance to good Lebanese and Chinese restaurants and a convenience store.
The carpet in the room was dirty in areas and the sauna had to be booked. The light in the bathroom shower room was too bright.

Cleanliness of bathroom was bad, no robes or slippers, two tiny bottles of water in fridge. You had to request to use sauna and steam 30 mins before so they could turn it on
