Firstly, property was in a very good location, as I came to London city airport, was very good to get to and from hotel to the airport by walk.
Staff members, especially receptionists were not friendly and welcoming since I stepped in to hotel. The only one girl was nice when I was checking out. I got the room, window to the trashes, so since the very early morning glasses were breaking and couldn’t really rest.

Size of the room is good and beds are comfy. it was cleaned if someone decides to ignore the stain on the carpet. The staff is super nice and helpful. Location very convenient for London ExCel Variety of food for breakfast
Issues with airco as it has a fixed temperature for the whole hotel and if it is cold as it was for me no way to increase the temperature. The staff were super nice and offered a heater but a centralized airco and a note saying that it is for the environment is definitely below expectations I had dinner at the hotel and food was not particularly good

Very bad experience at this hotel. Have previously stayed in Moxy Stratford and was much happier. The room we got given had a window which did not open and the 'AC' only works on heating, it would not go down below 21 degrees. The room was constantly over 24-25 degrees, making it impossible to sleep. The AC would barely bring down the temperature by 1 degree. We alerted reception about this and they suggested to 'just try and open the window' as if we had not done that already. The next morning we went back to discuss this issue, they said someone will look at it and if they cannot fix it, we can move to another room. When we returned in the evening, we were told they were unable to fix it and also that the hotel was fully booked so they do not have another room for us. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The pillows are also very bad, and when asked if there's any other type, we were given 'the softest pillows' which were identical. They also took a 20 pound deposit which we were told would be refunded in roughly 3 days but to give it 5. It's now been 8 working days and still no refund...

Just enough quirkyness , friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable, super and affordable food plus a bonus free moxy cocktail! Room was lovely and I felt as though I was as relaxed as at home.
I honestly cannot think of anything at all . I had a lovely stay and location was perfect for my visit to the Excel Centre. I guess that the only thing that I didnt like was that my mates were in the Premier Inn, where I couldnt get in , and not at the Moxy!!!Their loss.
