the staff helped us wonderfully when we made the mistake of booking a disabled room on accident. a very nice experience indeed.
the matras and pillow were a bit hard, for the topper was very thin.

Location close to Customs House train station and the cloud/o2 arena
Large stains on the carpet in the room. Bathroom was smelly and needed a deep clean. Ladies hair (not ours) in the shower. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. AC barely worked.

The location was ideal and the car park was close.
The restaurant was a bit tight. Although it wasn't full when I got breakfast, the buffet area was tight trying to squeeze through to get what you wanted.

Location for the Excel outstanding, pleasant and friendly staff
£307 per night is obscene especially for that amount the room offered minimal storage for clothing,
no draws for smaller items and folded garments, no mini fridge

The support of the staff, especially Zenovia but everyone else was very helpful as well! Location was excellent for what we needed, 2 min to Excel London. Hotel was clean, breakfast as well was great, we loved it our stay and recommend this hotel!

Super friendly staff at reception, very happy to help with any requests, even kept our luggage outside check-in/out times while we went to explore
Perfect location for attending Excel Events
Rooms were clean on arrival, and cleaners came in daily to fleshen things up and put new towels which we appreciated, they even left our AC on so we always came back to a cold room (a relief with the hot weather)
Great price for the full weekend
Rooms were clean and pretty standard but only one pillow on the bed? Not like a thick hotel pillow but the thinnest pillow in existence that wasn't even enough to give your head/neck a bit of support or comfort, so sleep was not very comfortable - definitely haven't had that issue while staying in other Ibis Hotels. The shower had no border or guard around the stall to stop water flooding the rest of the bathroom which made it so difficult to shower
I wish this bulding lived up to the same standards that other Ibis Hotels have set (even local locations like Canning Town) the facilities and rooms were lacking in comparison which was a disappointment but that is no fault of the staff

Staff member who checked us in was fantastic, kind, and made us smile. Gave us all information clearly and thoroughly. The food at the restaurant was good and well priced. Was happy with the amenities provided.
The bathroom could have been cleaned better. The shower curtain definitely needs replacing. There was a staff member at breakfast who had a loud and very unprofessional rant about his job, which I didn't enjoy listening to whilst eating my eggs.

This hotel was the perfect location for our group visiting the Excel. The hotel was clean and tidy and offered breakfast with a bar for evening meal. Communication from staff was great and we were even able to WhatsApp from our room to request extra amenities. Nothing but a good experience.
