With views of Royal Victoria Dock, ibis London Excel-Docklands is less than a one-minute walk from the ExCeL exhibition center and the Emirates Air Line cable car system that leads to the O2 Arena. The hotel was ideally sited for access to the Excel Exhibition halls, less than 5 minutes walk. The room was pleasant although in need of refurbishment especially in the bathroom which was basically a wet room. The shower worked well with plenty of hot water available. The room was quiet, sited away from the lift shaft and the comings and goings of a busy hotel. The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean. The room cleanliness was of a good standard but the walls/wallpaper needed redoing. In-room drink making facilities were good also. The breakfast bar was well-stocked with plenty of choice, excellent breakfast but could be very noisy with a full hotel all descending at around the same time.
The soaps/shower gels required topping up something I made special mention to the staff but this wasn't done so had to keep coming out of the shower to the sink to get soap then go back in, very annoying and very easy to sort out !

The staff was very kind and said hello when arriving at the hotel and when leaving the hotel. Room was very easy to find and suitable to rest and relax. There was towels and accessories to have a shower. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on. I also liked that there was umbrellas that you can use if you forgotten your own and breakfast was a nice friety to choose from
