Room and corridors were clean. Rooms were serviced well.
Staying at this place was one of the most terrible experiences of my life. We have stayed at Radisson, Premier Inn and Travelodge during the past few weeks but this Holiday Inn almost ruined our vacation. The room has almost zero mobile network and wifi signal. The hotel sent someone to inspect and they promised to change our room but we were not even contacted again. The reception staff were mostly rude except few. For the price, the family room was very compact and not at all fit for a family. The breakfast options are limited and I had to find someone to request vegan sausages which came almost 20 minutes later when we already finished eating and left the table. If its a buffet, then all items should be put out. Why do we have to find and chase hotel staff for food when its supposed to be a buffet and the item is on the menu! The room did not have a safety deposit box as advertised on booking.com. Moreover, the hotel mistakenly checked us out 2 days before when I was out visiting friends which added to my agony. I had to call them a few times after which they charged my card again. But the worst part is that no one even bothered to call me after their mistake and later when i called again, another person kept arguing with me saying they did not have my booking without checking properly and argued that I extended my stay. The TV did not have basic applications like netflix or youtube. If this is what IHG standard has come down to then i am just sorry for them! For 130 GBP (excluding parking a night) you would expect better service at least. The reception staff were the worst part of my experience. Not going back ever.

- location next to the DLR station
- electric kettle for preparing tea or coffee in the room
We had a room for 4 people. First couple bed is OK, but second is folding and is really very uncomfortable. We were here with 2 kids but I can't imagine to sleep in this bed as 2 adults.
