Almost the whole staff team here are lovely. Almost feels like an independent hotel with how friendly and helpful they are.
Love that it’s opposite London City Aiport so you can stand at the barrier and watch the planes take off.
Good transport links with the DLR easily connecting to Elizabeth line.
Nice breakfast, again the breakfast staff were super friendly.
They don’t have decaf tea option (small gripe).
At 12.30am an alarm started to go off in our room; it was the air con humidity detector (larger gripe).
It was loud and quite scary when you are roused from a deep sleep. A member of the team came to sort it immediately, but unfortunately sorting it meant turning the a/c off. So that night and the next morning until checkout was quite warm. It took a very long time to go back to sleep from such a sudden and urgent wake, particularly for our child.
We reported it to reception on check out and wondered if they might offer something complimentary for the inconvenience and lack of sleep, but the staff member was very unbothered ♀️ Shame as they were the first team member we met who wasn’t super helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable. It is outside the city center but there's plenty of transport links available for travelling into the city. The breakfast was enjoyable and we managed to get a table for our party of 4 without any issues. On arrival they asked if we wanted rooms by each other and accommodated our requests.
The lady on the front desk may have been having a bad day but she was quite rude upon checking in. Not enough to spoil our stay and the rest of the staff were lovely.

The fact that when we get to go for breakfast was told no pyjamas, which I would say, this was something should have been said while checking in. Also my pjs were more like long pants and long sleeve button down shirt. My daughter's was more like loungewear, was told to change. Wasn't too happy. So I just never did breakfast for the whole stay.

Easy to reach from LCY, also to go to ExCel. Never had an issue traveling to and from downtown London. The place feels safe, is clean, the stuff is kind, and the power sockets near the bed are perfect.
There were some restaurants around, but I never felt like going there to have my meals. I would have loved a convenient store nearby. But it was okay nonetheless!

Friendly staff and clean
1. Breakfast. I personally suggest can add other non veg also ,not only ham/ pork. Can add atleast chicken
2. add complementary water atleast 3 bottles per day .
