A really good location for ExCel London and for the DLR Station. Also opposite City Airport. Beautiful to stroll alongside the river if that’s your thing. Staff were lovely and friendly, especially the people in charge of breakfast and the restaurant. Comfortable room with all the facilities I expected.
Not much else around the hotel except other hotels. Would have liked a mini supermarket a bit closer. But used one close to the ExCel centre during the day.
Had some minor niggles with the room, some light switches on one side of the bed didn’t work (but the other side was fine), a power socket next to the kettle didn’t work (but the one next to it was fine). The main think I didn’t like was the really horrible crack in the sink. I really needs replacing.

Excellent location, cleanliness, and some of the hotel staff were friendly.
We arrived at the hotel the following day, at 10:04 a.m. Despite messaging the property in advance to explain that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we would arrive after a night of travelling, and asking whether we could still have breakfast, the response was blunt: breakfast is served until 10 a.m.
When we arrived, we tried again at reception, but without success. We asked if we could at least have a coffee, but were told we would have to pay for it. We then asked to speak to a member of management and were directed to the dining room, where, after explaining our situation and asking repeatedly, two staff members told us that this was the hotel’s policy.
Please note that, when we entered the dining area, there were still seven guests who had not finished their breakfast, while the staff had already cleared away the food at 10:10 a.m.
In the end, we were able to have breakfast thanks to a lady who stepped in and helped resolve the situation.
We chose this hotel because of its positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience did not live up to them.
There were two coffee machines, but one had been labelled “out of order”, resulting in queues of 6–10 minutes just to get a coffee. The dining room had approximately 50 seats, possibly more, so the limited coffee service was particularly frustrating.
In the bathroom, the extractor fan was not working, and there was no window. This was especially unpleasant because the room itself had no means of ventilation either, as the windows were fixed and could not be opened.

The staff are so friendly so helpful and the rooms are nice and tidy and nicely decorated
The beds felt like they were just slabs of wood. I live with a chronic pain illness and couldn't sleep no matter which way I laid in bed it felt like I was sleeping on wood boards

Nice Hotel with good breakfast. Good location. Room clean and tidy.
We got a room for a disabled person. That was not well advertised and we haven't recognised on the pages it was the case. Therefore, we haven't enjoyed the bathroom and that is very important for overall feeling when coming back tired in the evening after a whole day of exploring...

The hotel is great value for money. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. There is a parking which makes it convenient if you come by car. The area is quiet and clean. The staff friendly and welcoming. Quite close to City airport - 15 min walk.
Its a bit far from Excel centre, walking distance 15-20 min, same with public transport, on a sunny day its fine but rainy days can be a bit more complicated. Breakfast is not that rich, fresh fruits are limited.
