The rooms are very quiet, great a/c & the breakfast is fantastic. The staff are polite & incredibly helpful. Also the bedding is a dream the pillows are amazing.
The replacement sofas in the reception area aren’t as comfy as the previous ones

Location very close to excel center and to Elisabeth line.
Housekeeping efficient and riguros.
During night the air conditioning changed to a preset program and the air got warm and dry, hard to breathe.
Twin beds are not possible.

The ambience... The rooms... the staff was good too
Everything was good....The staff were all good.
Except that when we checked out to go for our flight, our flight was cancelled and we called Hampton by Hilton in Gatwick, If they could help us with a room as we were stranded. I have a wee-boy of two years and I am pregnant, but the manner the receptionist shut me up. The manner he spoke to me and hung up gave me chills. And I could not connect to Hampton by hilton dockside,,,,, I felt so bad and irritated.

Close to the Excel congress venue and therefore very convenient if you participate in a congress or conference there
By far the worst breakfast I have had in a long time. Not what I expected from a Hilton hotel. Very limited choices. Breakfast venue reminded of a school canteen.

Almost the whole staff team here are lovely. Almost feels like an independent hotel with how friendly and helpful they are.
Love that it’s opposite London City Aiport so you can stand at the barrier and watch the planes take off.
Good transport links with the DLR easily connecting to Elizabeth line.
Nice breakfast, again the breakfast staff were super friendly.
They don’t have decaf tea option (small gripe).
At 12.30am an alarm started to go off in our room; it was the air con humidity detector (larger gripe).
It was loud and quite scary when you are roused from a deep sleep. A member of the team came to sort it immediately, but unfortunately sorting it meant turning the a/c off. So that night and the next morning until checkout was quite warm. It took a very long time to go back to sleep from such a sudden and urgent wake, particularly for our child.
We reported it to reception on check out and wondered if they might offer something complimentary for the inconvenience and lack of sleep, but the staff member was very unbothered ♀️ Shame as they were the first team member we met who wasn’t super helpful.
