Stayed a few times and the staff are helpful and friendly. Also love the cookies that you get on arrival, nice touch, and the ferry is great to cross to Canary Wharf, it makes life easier and adds to the hotels appeal being on the river.
The only thing I found this time was we were given a voucher for two free drinks at the bar for our birthdays, which was lovely, when we got to the bar the bartender was a jobs worth and even argued with me about getting a bit of lemonade in my drink and used an already opened very small bottle of lemonade that had already been opened and used and was sitting there, he then tried to only use a tiny bit of that, seemed very stingy to me, and not setting a good example for a nice hotel, had free drink before and didn't have this problem so was probably just an over zealous member of staff.

Very well presented and the room we ended up in was really good with views over the Thames
We were first put into a room that was very small and stuffy. Not acceptable for what we had booked so had to go to reception to complain. We were moved to a better room.

Location was very good and use of ferry boat to access other side of river was very pleasant and convenient.
Very poor lighting in bedrooms. No light by the mirror so when getting ready to go out on night out was very hard to get ready with not effective lighting. Parking spaces are very difficult to access as most spaces very small and high risk of scratching car when trying to park in most of the car park spaces.
