The hostel exceeded my expectations. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the room very spacious, clean and had a view of the Thames. I would highly recommend staying here on your trip to London.
That i wasn't staying longer.

The location was good and the staff were friendly
The rooms were ridiculously hot. I’ve. Though it was cool outside the rooms very 30+degrees and the temp couldn’t be turned down. It was impossible to sleep and made it awful at night

Very convenient, close to London and everything else. I could take the bus and go anywhere.
The check-in is quite disappointing as my booking was not in the system for them when I have already booked and paid. Wasted hour just trying to check in.

Wonderful
breakfast is everyday the same. But you can choose from eggs, beans, sausages, yogurt, pancakes. It is nice to sit in terrace with the river view. Ferry to Canary Wharf is great and free so that was perfect. Bus stop is right next to the hotel.
We had problem with sink in the bathroom and we told reception and no one came to fix it. And no cleaning the room or changing towels when we were there 5 nights.

Good, former Hilton hotel. Good river views. Can get there by boat!
It’s not amazingly central.

The view was lovely, the free pass for ferry was convenient, nearby bus stop, Tesco across the road.
There’s a steep ramp to get from the gate into the reception area, I had many luggage and pushing them up was very difficult. I asked for help at the reception because I have back pain, but both receptionists refused to help and they said they don’t have any staff!! Staff are not helpful and not hospitable. The AC was not working and it was very hot in July.

The staff was very kind and helpful, they let me and my friends stay in the same room, the views are amazing.
The A/C wasn’t working in the summer, the cleaning staff stole my tabacco that i left bellow my pillow and the breakfast is sooo expensive (40 £)

Poor
Docks nearby, free boat to travel to the other side of the river
The air conditioning did not work for the entire stay, which was very difficult during the heatwave. I also did not receive the river-view room I had paid for — not from the first day, as booked. I tried to resolve this at reception but was told it could not be handled locally. I sent an email four days ago and have received no reply and no offer of compensation. I had also pre-paid for breakfast and requested a takeaway option, which was not provided — again with no response and no refund. I can understand that equipment sometimes breaks. What I cannot accept is that when it does, the service and communication should step in — and here they simply did not. That is what leaves me disappointed. The one positive: midway through our stay it was possible to move to another room.

Disappointing
The location is good.
Air-condition was not working; rooms were still advertised as available though many of us could not stay in our rooms as it was too hot. My room had 34 degrees when I arrived. When I asked for a room change front of house staff were not able to respond effectively. Many customers became very stressed as we received mixed messages.

Wonderful
Lovely room, nice and cool. It was very clean and perfect for our one night stay. We came back late and the staff at the front desk were lovely, very smiley.
Finding our room was a nightmare. Staff at the front desk weren’t helpful and we ended up running into a cleaner who guided us to our room and gave clear instructions on how to get there.

Very Poor
The view from the boat seeing London was nice. Eventually agreeing a refund due to lack of air conditioning was a positive conclusion to the very disappointing stay.
No air con in the room made it unhealthy to stay there. No alternatives offered. Check in was crowded and chaotic. Staff seemed unhappy to be working. Unfortunately will never stay at this hotel again.

Good
The price and location and that you can use the free boat to get across the river
The Male staff member when checking in was rather rude because I couldn't do self check in so he kept huffing and puffing at me and tutting. Then when we asked for directions for our room he did more tutting. Also the pole that holds the shower on was hanging off at the bottom.

The room was actually quite nice, shower was good
We had already checked in and settled into the room then left for the evening, upon return in the evening our keycard wasn’t working so went down to reception to be told it wasn’t our room! They would have to give us another, took us about 30 mins to get them to understand we wanted our room with our belongings in! I think possibly someone had checked in online and been assigned our room number! Luckily we got them to take us to the room and nothing had been touched but it was a worry we didn’t need at 11pm!

Poor
Well it is average.
1. We were put in a room with no AC. They said maintenance. After 4 days no AC is working seems like a summer scam. 2. In Our first room, there was no flush. My feiend ask the receptionist to fix it but they said to use the public toilet in the floor like is he for real? we paid a private room with toilet. 3. After negotiation which by way shouldnt be we were transferred to another room(almost okay) 3. The shower drains in the first room and new relocated room is still clogged. 5. No cleaning. 6. No toiletress and shampoo its already over.

Pleasant
The location was easy for public transport as that’s what I used throughout to get into London. The ferry was a positive bonus to take us to the canary Wharf The bathrooms were very tidy, warm water and clean beddings
How could you not have tea/ coffee facilities n the room. I travelled for 8 hrs to get to this place, all the drinks I had to buy and the queues were forever. It feels welcoming when tea facilities are in the room I wanted to swap into a room with 2 singles for the children. It was a big issue with my family just to ask even for a mattress to sort this out. This ended with one of the children sleeping on the floor and crying the whole night. You need planB london Docklands for such issues The air-con was broken for the whole 3 nights i was at the hotel. Going through menopause, it was absolutely uncomfortable night with no cooling facilities, let alone the times of heat wave. The customer service were rude on the evening of 29thJuly and be kind to people. All the machines to get the drinks and snacks were broken and the queues were forever. You can do better than this London Docklands and improve your service The breakfast for £13 each person was very miserable, no bacon: how? I am not returning to this hotel ever again
