The staff was very kind and helpful. The welcome cookie, served warm, was delicious—I really enjoyed it. Breakfast was truly excellent, with a very comprehensive buffet. Cans of drinking water were available for free in the room.
In the bathroom, there’s only a general light on the ceiling and no light in front of the mirror. So it’s a problem when you’re shaving.
There’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom to plug in a hair dryer. The one provided only works for electric razors. To dry my hair, I had to use the outlet next to the nightstand, without a mirror.
There’s no hook in the bathroom to hang towels; I had to leave them in the room on top of the armchair to dry.
There’s no toilet brush in the bathroom.
The hair dryer did not have a CE mark. The mark stamped on the handle stands for “China Export,” not CE.
In the closet, the top bar for hanging crutches was very short, and all the clothes were crammed into a small space, making them difficult to take out and put away.
The window curtains didn’t block out the light completely; sunlight filtered in the morning, and I was forced to wake up at 5 a.m.
On first day, I noticed a tuft of hair on the floor. I was about to throw it in the bathroom. Then I left it on the floor, and it stayed there for the three days of my stay at the hotel: perhaps the cleaning could be improved.
I’m puzzled: you can’t spend over 300 euros a night and have all these shortcomings.

Good breakfast and bar food options
The fitness centre is very bad.
A token small room space and terrible equipment range.
A bigger space and equipment upgrade is badly needed
