Close to the cable cars, making getting to the O2 very easy. The view from our room was amazing and the added free drinks etc was a lovely gesture, we had a great night's sleep and a very comfortable stay

It was amazingly clean and contemporary. Felt like luxury from entering the entrance. Staff were more than helpful and seemed more than happy to answer any queries. I work in customer services and have high standards for myself so to experience staff that clearly have the same values and standards was refreshing.
We did have a slight situation with the lifts. A new system that had been installed whereas the card is needed to be tapped before entering floor number to access the floor went way above our heads and we were left baffled how to access our floor. There were no signs indicating this and it wasn’t explained at check in. Not a big issue, but could have been overcome by a simple instruction at check in.

The location was very good for what we wanted
The Air con in our room did not operate well. We had to call someone to the room to fix the TV as we were unable to select a channel. Stream your own services did not work leaving long buffer times. Together this meant we were in a hot room with no TV. Not what we would consider appropriate for the price.
The following morning, a third of the pool was taken up by swimming lessons, leaving us unable to complete a full length of the pool swimming due to being cramped as a third was out of use.
Breakfast. One coffee machine to serve 100+ people in the dining room? Empty bowls and plates on the buffet and no customer service at all. Nobosdy checked on us or asked if we wanted anything. Just all around poor.

We were disrupted middle of night by other guests in next room and a child running around on the floor making noises and banging on door , it was also very hot and we had to ask for extra water as only 1 provided for 3 people

The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Nice big lobby/ breakfast area and good facilities for a London hotel
We found the breakfast items pretty poor quality. The buffet looked the part but didn't taste great. Also we were really disappointed that the pool was booked up for swimming lessons on Saturday morning. This took over about a third of the pool when it was such a busy time for guests to be using it. Nobody could really swim properly, it was way too crowded. I really don't think it is fair to advertise a pool and so people book the hotel especially (as we did) and then book out the pool for swimming lessons. It's not fair on guests.
