Everything, dirty, ugly, NO BREAKFAST, the mattress was from before WWI, the surroundings full of homeless and drunk people, the stairs looked like they were going to fall, NO AC, the Toilet was worse than in Jail, the floor was dirty, everything was dirty, ugly, smelly, disgusting.

We liked the location of the hotel. Bed linen, towels were clean. The staff is nice.
Very very small room. The old house with its unpleasant smells. The staircase and the entire hotel are very dirty, the tablecloths on the breakfast table are very dirty, stained and the staff does not change them when they see it.. Breakfast and coffee are not tasty. There is no soap in the shower or by the sink.

It was convenient and the staff were always busy but polite. Coffee was on tap in reception area which I especially liked

It was a short travel from Stratford station
It was dirty, stunk of smoke, no hot water, mattress didn’t fit the bed, sink broken, bathroom grotty, carpet had burns from iron and cigarettes, no lock on bathroom door, manager was asleep on sofa in reception and didn’t even offer to rustle up breakfast despite us paying for it.
Would have got a cleaner, more accommodating service at a hostel. Would like to try and get my money back or atleast some of it. It’s a hovel not a hotel.
