The location was superb for the Excel and train station.
Housekeeping needs improving.
No shampoo in dispenser, no toilet roll just cardboard tube, only 2 cups when we had booked family room for 3 people.

The proximity to public transportation, good shower, modern and possibility to eat something.
Housekeeping did not once ensure the correct amount of fresh towels, water bottles, coffee pads, etc. There were four of us staying in a family room yet we only got three towels, one can of water, sometimes two, sometimes two coffee pads, sometimes none- so we had to make a lot of trips to reception. We stayed 5 nights, so this was a bit annoying.

Location, facilities(sauna, gym, steam room, laundry facilities), staff(particularly the restaurant & housekeeping), breakfast, menu, comfort (bed), room temperature control, huge television with access to apps such as Netflix, tea making facilities, fridge/cooler, proximity to public transport & Excel exhibition centre, 3 good-sized lifts, relaxing & pleasant smell of the main foyer, huge bar with massive television for watching sports, plentiful supply of towels in the swimming pool/sauna/steam room, modern facilities
Floor in bedroom & bathroom not clean(noticed nail clippings), pool temperature & quality of water( my child & I both itched whilst in it & even after coming out, water suspiciously tasted salty as it hit the lips, how often is the water quality checked or treated? ), no food available in the bar/restaurant before 5:30pm, noise insulation poorly installed (can hear the next room flushing toilet & the noise in the corridor), £20 parking fee daily, pricey food & room rates,shower head too high & difficult to reach for adjustment

Excellent hotel. Enjoyed my staying. Clean, nice, spacious room, very helpful and friendly staff. Ideal if you are heading to Excel Convention Center.
Great for Excel Convention Center yet requires a ride of at least 45 minutes to the city center.

The pool!! Breakfast was great too, with the kids loving the pancake machine. Proximity to DLR and Elizabeth line a great help as well.
The bed mattress kept sliding off the base which was quite offputting as the bedsheets then all came undone.

We loved the facilities included; steam room, sauna, swimming pool. It was also very convenient having a mini mart by reception for water, coffee etc. Very close to DLR. The rooms itself were very nice and comfortable.
The only thing I would say I didn’t like is the fact that the windows don’t open not even a tiny bit. As the room can get quite warm.
