We felt the property needs some updating although the room and bathroom was clean. Unfortunately the noise from the bar downstairs was so loud late into the evening we were unable to get to sleep.

Great location. Very central. Only a 10 minute walk from the main train station. Staff were really lovely and helpful.

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, bar area, restaurant and food were very nice.
The staircase to the rooms very scruffy, carpets filthy. Room no 5 which is supposed to be a deluxe room was of poor standard. It is a large room but dated. The bathroom needs a refurb. The grout between the floor tiles has crumbled away. It Also felt like it needed a good clean, hair in the bath, toilet rolls sat on thick dust. I’m not one to write reviews but if I had read this then I wouldn’t have booked it.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room really spacious and clean. Perfect for all the facilities of the town

Excellent location for exploring the city. Just £5 in a taxi from the train station.
Nothing. Although I’ve never, in my entire life, had the urge to put a teabag down the toilet……until reading the slightly odd notice in the bathroom telling me not to. I then spent the rest of my stay fighting back the urge

The hotel was in an excellent location for exploring the city and literally 5 minutes walk from a multi storey car park. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, both within the bedrooms and the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was superb. All staff were very welcoming.
