Good
Clean with reasonably good facilities and, when we saw them, helpful and friendly staff. Fridge content welcome. Excellent for 3 people.
Inadequate lighting in main lounge/kitchen with many dud bulbs. Upper bannister stair handle loose and unsafe. Two expellairs not working. No maximum points for no private car parking. Poor electric sockets in main 1st floor bedroom. Much needed to improve.

Apartment had everything we needed. Comfy beds, hot showers, towels. Location is brilliant, a 2 minute walk into the centre. A little noisy with duel carriageway outside

The location was absolutely perfect for the City centre and river attractions. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms were also ideal for our needs. The property was clean and there were plenty of towels and crockery ect, very well provided with coffee and tea also. However, the beds were not the most comfortable, but we did not let that spoil our lovely trip to Chester! And, would use Outlook again as it was certainly value for money.

Good
Fantastic location, really good to be able to just hop on to the walls and circumnavigate the city. Great to have three bathrooms - ideal for three couples, it would probably be a bit tight on living space for more. Reasonably well equipped although the glasses were a bit thick if you like to savour your wine. On the upside, no need to worry about putting them in the dishwasher. Good communication from the company - texts to tell you the property was ready (90 minutes before scheduled, which would have been useful if we hadn't planned our arrival to suit 3PM) and to make sure entry with the code had gone OK.
Unloading the car is difficult. Not least because Chester contains some relatively rare "no unloading" yellow lines on the kerbs (remember your highway code?) I'd recommend a left turn just before you get to the property (I know, I know, how do you know when you're just before? - easy, it's just after you've gone under the city walls) because there's some 30 minute parking in the street and you'll have a lot less far to walk than if you turn left just after.
The lounge furniture is a bit tatty. The chaise part of the sofa had patches of faux leather where the fabric backing was exposed and the coffee table looked like if had been used for defence from a shotgun.
The TV seemed to have been melted (probably because someone moved the toaster to be near a plug which wasn't already in use for the fridge - not us, I hasten to add - we just remembered to plug the fridge back in after toasting). [Note that the TV isn't in the position shown on the picture - it's actually mounted over a kitchen worktop]
The pillows inside the clean pillowcases looked a bit grim - some washable pillow protectors would help. Beds were a bit narrow and a bit unevenly sprung - not the most comfortable. And yes, take heed of the very honest noise warning - it would be worth asking for the sleep kits that they offer on pre-order - the traffic is noticeable all night and relentless after 6AM. Assuming you can sleep comfortably with earplugs.

Disappointing
Good location, mostly clean
Beds uncomfortable and several need replacing. Sofa very worn as was coffee table. Also should be replaced. Handle in one shower door is broken and another does not close properly

Exceptional
We have just returned from Chester City Walls Gathering and the 3 of us had a tremendous time. We were there to celebrate the oldest friend turning 70 and our preference was to go to a restaurant we all liked rather than any other form of celebration. We stayed in Chester as the place we liked the most only opens in the evenings. The place we stayed in was close to the city centre. quiet and comfortable. We all enjoyed staying there so much we would book in at some future time. People get in by using a code that is sent to people who bok in and it was better than using keys. We had a fantastic time thanks from Peter, Paul and me Viv.

Well equipped, great location, great value for money
Some areas looking a little worn- scuff marks and damaged paintwork on walls, arm of sofa loose, some mattresses lumpy.

Comfortable beds. Close to Chester racecourse. we were able to have our own rooms. It was warm when we arrived.
No parking, we had to park in a paid car park opposite. The showers were very weak and hard to regulate between very hot or cold. Noise from the road outside.

Great location, a few minutes walk from the centre. It was lovely and clean. Exactly what was needed for a fab night away for a group.

The £100 refundable deposit for damages.
I wasn’t aware this was going to be taken and as a result there were not enough funds in the account.
A little heads up would have been nice and avoided all confusion on the day.

Wonderful
How close it was to the centre of Chester. Really good advice on parking handed over to us.
The venue had everything we needed.
Lack of plugs in some of the bedrooms. To be able to use multiple hairdryers/straighteners
