This award-winning 5-star hotel features individually decorated rooms with bathrobes. Guests can relax in the spa's Thermal Suite, complete with herb sauna and steam room. Rooms also include Sky channels, a DVD player, and free WiFi. With 4 AA Rosettes, The Arkle restaurant offers tasting menu and La Brasserie offers informal cuisine and coffees among Parisian decor. A Continental breakfast is served in the morning and a full English option is available at an extra cost. The Spa at The Chester Grosvenor features 5 luxury treatment rooms providing a wide range of relaxing treatments. Guests can also enjoy the steam room, salt grotto, and foot baths. In the center of Chester, the hotel is less than 5 minutes’ walk from both Chester Cathedral and Grosvenor Park. On one of Chester’s historic shopping streets, the hotel is next to the Grosvenor Shopping Center. The Spa and Thermal Suite are open Thursday to Monday. There is an additional charge for guests to use the Thermal Suite unless Spa treatments have been booked.

It is in a great location, staff were helpful and courteous, food excellent. Internally the hotel had bags of character.
Our room number 250 was smelling of drains each time we entered it although it seemed to clear after a while. Car parking is a bit of a pain unless you use the valet parking which is expensive. Self Parking costs £15 per day which is not too bad but considering the cost of staying here car parking should be inclusive.

The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the doormen Hotel was clean
No mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer in the bedroom We visited on Sunday and Monday so only 1 restaurant open with a limited menu. Cooked breakfast not very hot Luxury pedicure not really luxurious and was expensive for what was done. Gels in this day and age should be removed with a special nail drill and not a file which is painful

The service is everything and a bit more than expected and wile this is the premier hotel in the best location Chester has to offer the staff are really down to earth and attentive.the attention to detail is amazing.
I would be amazed to find any negative feedback on this hotel.

Slap bang in the centre of Chester. Adjacent car park. Staff couldn't have been nicer.
Mistakenly charged me an extra £100 after I left but reimbursed me immediately when I pointed out the error!
