3 staff on reception during my stay were excellent, helpful, chatty. Access to snacks and cool drinks without having to tussle with a machine was great .. the free coffee/tea machine was superb and free croissants in the morning and excellent start to the day

The room was bright and light, clean and tidy, staff very friendly and helpful,
The car park was very small, I couldn’t get the only disabled space available, so it was a struggle to park

We loved the location, right on the city walls making the old town immediately accessible. The welcome was warm and friendly and felt authentic. The room was spacious and comfortable for two.Breakfast coffee and croissants were a nice surprise.

Hotel is lovely. Clean and big rooms. Location is brilliant to the town
It's next to chester race course so didn't sleep well as there is a bell that goes off every hour. Did mention it to a member of staff and he said there is nothing they can do about it so if your staying make sure you cover your ears.

Free coffee machine and croissant for breakfast. Location was brilliant.
Room was extremely dusty, there were bugs in the bathroom and toilet flush was broken.
