Lovely roomy accommodation, huge bed, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast at the tearoom on site.
It was spoilt by the distinctive smell of cigarette smoke. Left me feeling nauseous

We were traveling through. Rooms are clean, modern, cozy and very new. Safe parking in front of the door. Breakfast next door. Unfortunately not on Mondays but the town is about a 10 minutes drive, so no problem.

Nothing this time.
Bedding was disgusting, blood on pillow case, big yellow patches over pillows, duvet, mattress saver, shower was dirty.
And although they can't control how noisy the person in room below was, they were shouting, singing and talking extremely loudly and constantly until.past 3.30am, so we had no sleep.
We were booked to stay two nights, but obviously didn't.

Excellent Comms, good location for Chester / Wirral, dog friendly and the lady on reception was really helpful
Labelled as "luxury accommodation" but could hardly be called luxury. The rooms are basically a large featureless, windowless box (one window above the bed but it's frosted). No view out, no reading lamps, no light by the mirror. Bathroom, whilst nicely appointed, was poorly maintained and not clean. Rooms poorly soundproofed too. Rock bottom basic.

Location was ideal for us as we were participating in the Run For Nature 10K at Chester Zoo and had an early start. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Parking outside our front door was a bonus.
Nowhere to get breakfast prior to 8am which we were aware of so brought some light snacks but a small onsite shop would be useful.
