Great location with ample hotel parking.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Interesting building perfectly located to enjoy the sights of the town.
Gym and spa facilities included which was good value.
Decor was dated and lacked up to date boutique style flair.
Bedroom was small due to the constraints of the converted mill building and the bathroom was dated. Bed not particularly comfy.
Nice spa facilities but men's changing rooms not thoroughly cleaned at the time of our visit.

Wonderful staff in the restaurant. Excellent service. Delicious food. Very attentive & friendly service from Sam & Courtney on the evening of our arrival. Top class service all.
Also thank you to the staff at the front desk especially Joanne who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future.

Very clean, and location very good near the station and city.
We had a twin room and the beds were so small and close together I had to sleep the other way round! We couldn't move them due to fixed headboards and the radiator location. The room itself was very small and dated, as was the bathroom. Soap dispensers were difficult to use and basic quality of soap. Couldn't control temperature in the room and it was very warm. Beds were not particularly comfortable.No chargers next to beds. Breakfast was just ok, not much choice if you didn't want cooked, rubbery toast, cheap cereal in dispensers, tinned fruit. Overall very basic quality of everything which is a shame in such a nice building and location.

The room was larger than I thought it would be and we had everything we needed, even biscuits! All was clean and reassuring. The breakfast was very good and other meals in the bar were well prepared. The location was very good for access to the city area, just a few minutes walk along the canal side. The Sat Nav directions were terrible, both in and out of the hotel area, but that will probably be due to an overdue map update. Extra care needed or easy to be directed down a one way street, the wrong way.
We were sufficiently impressed that we have already decided to visit again, perhaps for a little longer, so clearly no negatives at all.
