Decent breakfast, good bar area and small gym, also has a swimming pool
Attitude of the guy on reception.
Booked a privilege room only to be fobbed off with a family room for one adult, they also charged for the privilege room

Breakfast has a decent choice, large TV in the room, bar food isn't too bad, decent selection of beers, the guy behind the bar is spot on. Gym is ok for a hotel
Booking two privilege double rooms only to be given two family rooms instead but still paying the same price!! The guy on check in blaming it on booking.com even though I had a confirmation email stating what I'd booked. Just be careful you get the room you actually booked and paid for! The rooms are quite dated

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Bar service was good. All staff we encountered was friendly and approachable.
Room didn't see where the privilege room extra charge was for? Small pool area had to wait as pool was full, couldn't use jacuzzi steam room or sauna as they were also full. No sofas to relax on. No cocktails offered on bar service. Inexperienced waiters in restaurant (asked how I would like my gammon cooked - medium rare, medium or well done) poor quality of food offered (starters main and pudding) cheese stale on cheese board - Rock hard bed flat pillows - breakfast again poor quality products and some items over cooked or reheated (hashbrowns cocked until no potato left)

Nice quiet hotel, nice and clean and staff really nice and kind
The room was a bit to warm even with the radiator off. Felt like you couldn't breath cuz there was no air, had to sleep with window open which disturbed my sleep as the noise coming from the birds cars etc

The hotel rooms were disgusting not clean broken chair dirty bedding very stained/soiled mattress cobwebs dust everywhere dirty paintwork stains on carpet poo in toilet stained wash basin all round dirty smelly couldn't stay so requested a full refund later found out this hotel has or still does House refugees

Duvet too small only touched the edges of the bed when no-one was in it. Once the bed was occupied you ended up not having enough cover

Didn't like when in pool was children swim lessons so didn't stay in there long as would have liked. Window was high in room so not much view .

the place was completely falling apart. There was zero upkeep. There was no towels, no toileteries, no kettle. I mean the toilets werent cleaned, where do we even start. It was hard to believe it was a hotel. There were no staff to even question or request for help.

Food very good, friendly helpful staff.
Decor is dated and a bit grubby. Bathroom needed a deep clean, mould in corners. Paintwork shabby and in need of decorating. Windows dirty inside and out. Bedside dimmer switches did not work.

The location to Liverpool airport was great and the hotel was lovely kept in its original style , it was like going back in time so nice to see
The Taxi service to the airport there are two options pay by card or cash always ask for the cash option as the card option they turn up when they wantn

Absolutely nothing
The room was absolutely filthy,thick in dust the hallways were piled high in dirty bedding and plates of food when we checked in we told the staff of our concerns and we showed them pictures they offered us a free meal which we declined customer service was absolutely shocking me and my wife could not stay it was that bad after our journey from Manchester we ended up packing our belongings and had to pay for another hotel the Abode Chester I would never ever go back to that hotel again I can’t imagine how bad the food would be after how dirty it was so disappointing and costly paying for another hotel
