The location and helpful staff.
My room was too cold for my tastes. The bedding was clammy like it had been put on the bed before it had dried completely. This made for an uncomfortable night.

Convenient for city centre and for parking.
No staff on site or near - very noisy guests in other rooms. Doors banging and shouting until 3 am - we would have raised this as an issue if staff were on site. No rest possible due to noisy guests, we wouldn't have stayed for 2 nights despite comfy rooms. Heating not turned on until late evening and rooms were cold up to that point - heating was efficient when turned on.

Was easy to find. Great for exploring Chester centre. It was my first solo trip but I felt safe being there on my own. My room had everything I needed was clean and beautifully decorated.
There was nothing I didnt like about the property.

I like the decor and the cosy, comfy bed and puffy pillows. The En_suite was very nice. It was very quiet. Which was great.
It was difficult to find, and a pain, firstly about getting in. I should've been given the info on getting in, hours before Arrival. As I did mention that I suffer from Anxiety. I was quite stressed after a long journey. And it was dark. Took me about an hour asking different people for directions, as I've never been to Chester before. Difficult getting through gate, and I wasn't told that the door would be unlocked, until I actually got there. I think breakfast should also be included in the price. Not much room to put your belongings. Could do with, perhaps a small fold down table. And mirror moved to centre wall. As it was too close to the bed and on the other side, a big picture got in the way of the bed I kept knocking it in my sleep. Also a manual perhaps telling you how to put heated towel rail on. Etc.

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk into Chester and a car park opposite.
Room was a bit shabby, some mold or discolouration at top of walls. Bathroom a bit tired. Double bed very uncomfortable. Thought the room was overpriced.

The building
Claire who owns the property has harassed my family since they arrived. I booked this hotel for my son and his 6 friends. Claire then asked me why his mum booked his hotel? yes thats correct? a hotel manager asking why his mum booked a hotel for her son and friends!. She then asked for 200 deposit because they were men and men wee the bed. Im being serious all asked. Then messaged me at 2.30am on morning to say they were coming in and out of hotel door. Ive never ever had such a bizarre experience ever. Constantly called my phone and sent messages when all Ive asked for is a refund on deposit , and advised her not to put on booking.com no men to stay. Claire is very sexist and has made my sons experience of Chester awful, he stays all over England and Ive booked lots of hotels with never the hotel manager calling me all night. Awful experience would advise no one to stay and showers and heating do not work. Claire watches her cctv of you all night to. No other guests complained. My son and friends went into city centre for night out! why have a hotel in city centre then complain about everything they do. Still waiting for 200 refund.

Claire was wonderful on arrival as we was there for the marathon. The room was a lovely cosy twin room for us girls. Was so peaceful and calm just what was needed.
