Excellent location & helpful staff
Rooms are in need of refurbishment (I looked at 3 ). The room had not been cleaned properly. Thick dust and a used tissue behind the bedside table. Paintwork around windows was dirty.

Location is excellent, a few steps and you’re on the main street.
The room looked tired, the carpet stained, the plug was stuck in the sink and the air con didn’t work.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and good quality.
The hotel itself is a little tired and there is no restaurant, having said that the hotel is very central and there are plenty of restaurants close by.

The bed was super comfy, and the provided fan was powerful. The water stations on the floor were appreciated. The location was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating with bag holding.
The windows being sealed with plastic gave the room a bit of an unpleasant vibe. The hot water tap didnt work and the cold water tap was very hot.

The room was very comfortable and an excellent size. The toiletries was a nice touch in the bathroom, the bed was very comfortable. All in all it was a brilliant location
The windows need to be changed and unsealed so that they can be opened. The air conditioning system is rubbish and even with the fan the lack of fresh air into the room was very unpleasant. They need to be changed to ones that can be opened with a safety catch on them. That was the biggest downfall as the weather was very wat=rm

The room was basic and dated, with a cracked sink and a window that did not open; an extension cable lay in the strip for the full 20 hours while there. The breakfast was of a poor standard with limited choice

the entrance was nice
The room 224, has damp on the ceiling, the window did not open, so the room was constantly humid and warm. It was half the size of what was advertised. It looks nice outside and you go inside a room and its like something from 1980. I do not have a clue how they have 4 stars.
