Nice grounds and surroundings. Decent staff. Great pool/spa areas. Plenty of parking. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. Good food.
Bit of a wait to get checked in, not always someone on reception and you have to call them on the mobile number provided. Random Noises from extractor fan in bathroom and also radiator in room when switched on. Rooms could do with new carpets

Staff were very presented and polite.
The lift wasn't working, the breakfast was cold and long wait. The iron in room wasn't good at all. The room was dated. Not enough milk for tea tray, no phone for room service or reception. We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. We've stayed here a few times and have never had a problem.

The rooms and surroundings were very nice
Only 2 regular electrical outlets. Not enough outlets for my various electrical equipment. There were the 2 round plug European outlets but I didn't have that kind of plug

Spa was nice, treatments were excellent, probably one of the best facials I have had for a long time, thanks to Charlotte!! There was a good selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts and fresh juices at breakfast. Cooked breakfast wasn't the best but edible. Poached eggs were hard boiled but were soon replaced when we informed the staff.
Room was very dated but clean, furniture quite old, still using 3 prong old type plugs. Shower was good but the shower head leaned towards the wall and wouldn't stay forward!! Bathroom clean, nice clean towels. Bed was too soft for me but comfortable. Room were breakfast was served was certainly in need of a good lick of paint and a deep clean. £5 supplements had to be paid if you wanted salmon or eggs benedict.
