Breakfast service was really good and always has been on every visit
I think it’s crazy that you can charge a £5 surplus on breakfast for avacado

We loved the swimming pool. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly.
The whole hotel is a bit dated now and cwould benefit from an overhaul internally to match the beautiful and attractive exterior and grounds.

Good
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Parking was good.
Facilities were good.
Requested single beds and walk-in shower but got neither.
Up graded to a suite. It needed a good overall. Dirty window frames and broken panes of glass. All needed re painting or replacing. Bath panel broke and part come away. General decore needed a lot of attention.
Breakfast was luke warm.

Exceptional
Food pool familu rooms where fabulous
Reception. We arrived at 2.45 and receptionist was not welcoming at all. She said we had to wait until 3pm. 15 minutes early and could not get our key fir room until 3pm. Absolutely silly. Had our 2 grandchildren with us eager to have a swim.

Disappointing
Staff were friendly and helpful
Breakfast was very good
Spa treatments were excellent and the staff were very professional
Room was a deluxe king size
Curtains and chair was ripped
Black mould on bath panel and tiles
No plug socket near the bed, I use a breathing device and need a plug
Dinner in the restaurant was very disappointing

Fair
Good location and a nice clean and tidy room.
The reception at the spa was unmanned so I had to wait nearly 20 minutes to gain access the facilities when a member (not staff) finally let me in. The breakfast was very disappointing, the bacon was very thin and over cooked and the scrambled eggs were obviously from powdered eggs..... really? The whole breakfast looked like it had been sat under heat lamps for far too long.

Good
Easy check in. Beautiful grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. Chef happy to provide a meal “off menu” for one of us with food allergy.
Although rooms were clean they are rather dated and need some tlc.

Very Good
Peace and quiet, large bed, ground floor room, tea and coffee making facilities, clean linen. Come and go at your leisure LP
Breakfast was overcooked, the shelves inside the wardrobe really could have done with a good clean. It would have been very nice to be shown the facilities as we did mention at reception that we had never been to the hotel before.

Very Poor
The spa was great and lovely and clean. The resteraunt and food was lovely and staff were friendly.
The hotel was outdated ammnd very run down. The lift was broken so extremely hard to go up to the se ond floor with small children, our luggage and a pushchair. The rooms were dirty with marks and stains everywhere and no safety features for the windows on the second floor- and the windowsills were of climbing height as quite low down. We had to move rooms as the cleaners had put all fresh towels out but left the bath with dirty water in and the plug wouldn't come out. We were meant to stay 2 nights however, we cancelled our second night and stayed somewhere else.
