Very bad service not professional at all
We booked for 2 adults and 1 child and done full payment.
We arrived at the hotel around 12:00 AM after travelling from Reading with our child. The hotel staff informed us that only one room was available and it had no electricity/power. They offered this unusable room at half price, which we declined.
Due to the situation and the late hour with our child, we had no choice but to leave and book another hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable and a perfect location for Chester, The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.
The meals we had in the evening were very nice but we found it difficult to find a place in the bar area for our meal as it was always busy and were either on high chairs or bar area chairs which we found difficult to eat our meals. Meanwhile the breakfast room upstairs was usually half empty with proper dining facilities. It seemed this was only used for the tour parties which was a shame for the rest of us.

Overall great value for money. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of options. Staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Excellent location close to the North Wales expressway and yet only a short distance from the centre of Chester.
Room was large, clean and comfortable and good value. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide range of choice. Car parking available (Remember to register your vehicle at reception)
The outside of the building is uninspiring, but the interior was fine.

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, Breakfast was excellent even though they were exceedingly busy
they were friendly and the food was really good. We had Dinner at the onsite restaurant and the staff were brilliant and the food again was lovley.
Perhaps the front of the hotel could use a little sprucing up as didnt match how nice it was on the inside.

Nothing.
We checked in unfortunately about 11pm group of 15 with 4 rooms , if we had been able to arrive earlier we would have gone elsewhere . The smell of toilet matter in all the corridors and rooms was vile . Then to top it off the bed sheet where all stained. The place it old and rundown, id give it a miss .

Property was good location
The heating wasn’t working and the room was freezing cold all night.
I was in room 152, unsure if it’s under a stair case but the creaking from floorboards above woke me at 6pm and didn’t stop.

I come very often for a little respite, I get to relax swim and walk around Chester, shopping and eating. The staff are lovely and accommodating
The building looks a little run down from the outside but it is lovely on the inside.

just a long way from reception found it hard to get into the shower as the bath side was very hight willneed a walk in shower for further visits as I was afraid I would fall ove when getting over the bath side Did ask for a walk in shower but did not get it and was so tired with the way back and too to the eception that I did not complai

The air-conditioning was unable to be set to a temperature we were comfortable with and became quite overheated during the night.

We were given rooms next to each other, as requested. Beds were comfortable. Good tea/coffee facilities in rooms.
Breakfast was excellent. Lovely swimming pool
Evening meal was poor. Curry sent back as it was cold. Other food okay but nothing special and not worth the high price.

This hotel was in a great spot for us - we wanted to be able to get to a few different locations in chester .
The staff were incredibly helpful, very sweet and kind to 2 weary travellers
it’s a bit dated decor wise , the floors uneven and it’s had a hard life - but the bed was comfy , the staff lovely , and the linen soft and clean
