Hotel was.clean and very well decorated for the festive period.
I asked for a.very quite room as myself and Partner and been working all of the Festive period and Boxing day night was are only day of .
I've are both in work tonight.
I paid extra for the upgrade to a bigger and apparently quite room .
We went out into Chester for food because we were told your food finished at 19.00.
We returned and had a pleasant time playing board games in the Bar and went to bed around midnight.
After this point we was continuously woken by doors banging and people walking between rooms until around 04.30 I called reception with no answer.
Again around 07.30 we was continuously woken by doors banging and people laughing and loudly talking about the party they had that night .
When I left the room for breakfast the room facing had at least 15 glasses outside with various bottles of wine and other bottles outside and so did 2 other rooms either side of our room .
With a plate saying happy birthday.
When I checked out I was going to make a complaint to the female member of staff at reception.
But when passing the room cards she barley made eye contact and didn't even speak .
I was going to speak to the manager but he was dealing with a issue in the King's grill because breakfast was put away early at 10.30 instead of 11.00 as it says on website and paper print in room .
This obviously affected.our stay aswell .

*staff hasn’t knowledge about car park around-they suggest use car park on railway station but they didn’t know price
*lots dust on lights in hotel room (forgot take a pictures)
*staff did not empty bin,when we checked in it was almost full

Everything was very good and very helpful, friendly staff. The bar and food was all a bit pricey for us so I can't comment on that. Lovely furnishings, but long walk to our room...which, I guess, is only a minor thing.

Spacious, clean and quiet for a good night sleep
The ‘ambient’ heating was too high for me, it would only let me turn it down to 16 and the fan didn’t work. The heat made me feel very unwell so I had to open the windows.

Very clean and spacious. Good variety of choice at breakfast.
Lots of noise up until past midnight disturbed sleep pattern. Bed very uncomfortable. Dinner included in the price but limited to the menu titled “inclusive meal” which was restricted to any choice. Three started, limited main and three deserts. Drinks excluded meant additional cost.

The decor.
The air conditioning went off at 2am in the morning, waking us up because it became very hot. Thermostat would not allow us to put it on again. It appears to have been turned off from the main switchboard. Other guests were complaining of the same issue. Manager was totally unhelpful.
Loud noise from the room above of furniture being moved and the fire alarm going off. Was such a bad nights sleep.
