Our room was lovely, spacious and very comfortable with a large bathroom. The breakfast was full English and continental, which was lovely too. A bar food menu and a restaurant too, plus the food was excellent! Staff were helpful and friendly and we will stay there again.
We liked everything, really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The overall decoration of the hotel in junior suite and main areas of hotel.
My husband had booked the junior suite with balcony and garden views and had paid extra to upgrade. When we arrived we were put in room 10. And quickly realised this is not the room we paid for. We went to reception to double check we had been put into the right room and spoke to Megan, who quickly moved us to room 8. Beautiful room with a shared balcony. No garden view but we weren't to bothered by this. At first we were happy with this room. Later on in the evening once returning from our anniversary dinner we were laying on the bed, only to discover a few ants were crawling on me. I looked on the bed side cabinet and saw a few ants on there. Moved the lamp to discover more , and then looked on the carpet next to the bed to see loads of ants crawling around. I took a video and went back to reception. We were moved to a standard suite and provided a refund of £40.
The standard suite, bed was uncomfortable, smells really musty and damp, not pleasant and there's a loud external fan or something outside the window, so did not get the best night's sleep.
My husband booked this hotel for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. And spent £250 on a junior suite and booked this hotel thinking it would be something a little bit special to celebrate. Needless to say this has spoilt our anniversary and the standard suite is not worth £210 per night. It's smells, has marks all over the walls and carpet.
Overall we would have been better staying at a premier inn.

Room was spacious ,clean & tidy and a decent area to work in . Windows could be opened to allow some fresh air in .Breakfast was really good , fresh ,hot and on time and plenty off it. Spa facility was excellent , both Gym & pool.
Could have done with an extension lead as struggled for plugging in equipment .

Staff and spa ... comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Nice food . Grouds stunning.
Bit dated. Had a B n B in blackpool/faulty towers feeling sometimes not a 4 star hotel .... had to go hunting for a barman at one point. Breakfast in bed never arrived, although pre ordered.
