Large room, lovely jacuzzi bath to soak in after those long days walking around and exploring local areas nearby. Fabulous choice of breakfast and free onsite parking too.
Room was a little dusty in places (lampshades/pictures near beds) and the broken window that was there in October was still broken too which was quite disappointing to see, but would stop us returning for a third time either.

Breakfast. They couldn't cope with the number of people who arrived at the same time. We were asked how we wanted our eggs, went to get cereal, next minute our eggs arrived. When we were ready we went to get something to go with the egg but everything was empty. Had to wait quite a while. They should ask guests to state a preferred time for breakfast if they can't manage. On the plus side, what we did eat was tasty.

The lady on the night desk opened the bar for me
I didn’t understand why they asked you before you sat down for breakfast what choice of eggs you wanted and then served it before your breakfast so by the time you had finished your fruit or serial the eggs were cold when your breakfast arrived

Just a few things. The welcome. I had just got out of the car to be challenged in the car park by ‘have you booked in yet’. I mean give me chance I’ve just driven 300 hundred miles to get here.
Breakfast. Food was good but plates taken as soon the first person had finished, then the second etc.

This is situated in an excellent location with a short walking distance to the centre of Chester
The accommodation is very well presented with a quirky lamp collection
The bed was very comfortable and the private courtyard patio was a bonus
The room was well stocked with a selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks
The jacuzzi bath was amazing
My partner was very impressed with the special beans served at breakfast and would like the recipe

Beds were super comfy and spacious. Excellent location and very friendly staff
Breakfast was a little underwhelming - would have been nice for meat alternatives that were not pork and to have other options for a cooked breakfast

everything!!! All the staff were great and very pleasant & helpful. Room was immaculate and decorated to the best of taste.We had chocolates on the pillows and Hot Chocolate as well as your usual tea & coffee. Toiletries each also left on the bed with our huge towels. Room was also cosy & warm too. Breakfast was great it was self serve but you could choose from a fry up to cereals,yogurt,fruit, pastries etc…. Only a 20mins walk into Chester if that. we walked the main route one day and by the canal into Chester the next. Also 5mins from the hotel is a high street with pubs,restaurants, take aways. Loved it here and would come again
