The location was good, not too far to walk into Chester. The shower was good and there was a full length mirror in the room.
Sadly the breakfast was disappointing. We were offered the choice of a continental breakfast or cooked. Most hotels offer a combination.
I opted for fruit and yogurt. Bizarrely I was presented with a plate containing an apple a banana and a nectarine. I was hoping for a plate of perhaps melon and berries.
The yogurt was clearly served from a large pot and I was given a portion that would feed four!! I hate waste but couldn't eat it all.
The croissants were pleasant, the coffee disappointing. Sorry to the staff, of which there were many, you were all very pleasant and helpful.

Great staff, went above and beyond for me. Breakfast was lovely, didn't manage to have an evening meal but they let me order a takeaway and sit in the dining room.
Room was small but perfect for one person, had a TV and lovely ensuite shower. Very quiet, comfy double bed and a great nights sleep. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again.

Staff were really friendly. Bed was really comfy and bedroom was clean. Breakfast was efficient and served in a timely manner. Location was perfect for visiting the zoo.
Bathroom needs some tlc, mould and tiles missing. I'm a big fan of proper scrambled egg at breakfast, the microwaved egg was a bit of a letdown.

Good location just outside city centre. Staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Very clean too. Good value for money with breakfast included
Bit of wear and tear in rooms ie. Wallpaper peeling marks on wall ect.
Toilet made a horrible noise quite sporadically.
I was in the attic room and while I managed ok, the stairs up to here could be a bit dangerous for some. I was on a hen do and had a few drinks before heading to bed, thankfully like I say I got upstairs ok

Great location, only a short walk into town. Free parking. Fantastic breakfast included, plenty of options to suit all. Friendly and welcoming staff. Can't fault and would stay again if going to chester.
