We stayed for one night and myself and daughter loved it, it's got everything you need for a couple nights, gym, sauna and pool all a great add on for the price. Pool has two different shallower areas which is good for kids. Will be staying again when we come back.
Building is old and as such, some things are antiquated and in need of maintenance but that could also be part of the charm.

The receptionist ( the only member of staff we saw) was extremely helpful and pleasant.
The room was spacious
The bed was comfortable
The swimming pool and spa were terrible. The swimming pool water was murky and contained too much chemical, the changing rooms/ showers were filthy. The spa pool had about 6 inches of water in it. You need to bring your own padlock for the lockers! There were no staff at all in the spa/pool area.

Staff were brilliant. 5 star service and attention from all staff. Really warm welcome and super helpful.
We had a great family room which I would ask for again.
Lovely dining room overlooking the gardens which were well kept and a great breakfast
Lots of parking spaces. great location to be able to visit Chester Wales and surrounding areas.
Pool and gym not crowded
there was a small area in a hall way that needed touching up with paint and although this is noticeable it was not critical and did not spoil the enjoyment of staying there in anyway. I would definitely choose this hotel and room again.

Excellent staff, all very friendly. Room was clean. We stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast was great. Choice of cereals, toast and full English, all very nice. The hotel was a 10 min drive to chester zoo and the same into Chester centre.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us and they were all very lovely and welcoming!
I brought my partner and mum for the spa and the hot tub was out of order so that was a big disappointment for us.

The location is good and a great car park!
When I first arrived I was told the sauna and hot tub weren’t working Then I went to the bar and waited till some one eventually came to serve me! I asked for a cappuccino he put the cup under a machine and pressed a button and charged me £4.60 lol I asked for chocolate on my cappuccino and he said they didn’t have any lol ! This was all in the first 5 minutes of arriving lol The hotel is badly under staffed and the rooms need a refurb and the carpets smell ! The shower handle was just pure brown with rust lol and a nice big spider hanging down above the bed and its web I only used the hotel to sleep in thankfully! Am sure the staff were all doing their best !

1 member of staff was great, especially Geraldine
Dated and everything felt sticky. The bed was comfy but unsure why we were put in the top room when the hotel seemed empty. We were there for one night so I’m sure we could’ve been closer to the entrance not in the attic next to a fire escape.
