Hotel was easy to get too.Quite close to the city centre. The garden looked well kept & tidy
When we arrived we were sitting in the bar area and we saw a mouse run from under one of the sofas. We only had one lamp on one bedside table. A light over the bath was out.Limited breakfast.Drinks were expensive at the bar. The hangers in the wardrobe wouldn't our keep the clothes. The room was cold even the heating was on.

In the countryside so was peaceful
Breakfast was poor, starter for dinner was terrible but was still charged for it, fire alarm went off when was asleep & woke the whole place up & reception never even explained it was a false alarm

Breakfast could have more choice,grounds of the hotel were lovely. Staff were amazing we were upgraded to a 4 poster bedroom which was great.

The room was big, clean and comfy. The personalised note was a really sweet tough. The food on the evening menu was so good and not overpriced like it often is in hotels
I did have a neighbour who was noisy and there was a strange smell in the stairway that was not pleasant. Also the bedside lamp did not work. I forgot to mention it at reception or I'm sure they would have fixed it.

Fabulous staff- so friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Went out of their way to help. Really enjoyed using the spa area- great opening times
