Location was good, close to the main city centre and beach/pier
No table and chair inside the room which might be useful to work. No contact support staff and no restaurant in the property- when you entered it’s just your small room and you!

The hotel was close to the pier . Very quiet neighborhood.
Property is in need of upgrades. The lamp on the night stand was broken so I had to read with the over head light on. The bathroom floor was chipped and the balcony was dirty.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.
No hot water coming from the sink. The shower was electric but no constant flow. It went from cold to scalding. No coffee machine like it states. The bathroom was so small your back was against the door. The room was too hot even with the window open and the fan that was left was a waste of time, finally it's no smoking but if you like smoking Cannabis it seems to be ok as every time we walk in the place stunk of it. Finally no parking in the area . Half a mile away to find a space. Oh and the cookies and chocolate that is supposed left is none existent, just like the coffee machine.

The bath in the room was nice and bed was comfortable. Not far to walk to beach
Is no way worth the money. Decor is finished poorly. It’s small in the room. No staff on site so have to deal with reception over phone. Front door slamming all night and all morning. Was a fire on the doorstep as cigarette bin caught fire. Wasn’t dealt with for hours so our room stunk of smoke. Got palmed off with air freshener that did nothing. Paid for late check out but left early coz of the smell of fire

Great location and really comfy beds. Loved the thoughtful touch of earplugs to block out the morning seagulls - classic Brighton haha!
We did have a few issues during the stay, but for the price, it wasn’t too bad - especially with Brighton being such an expensive place to stay. You get what you pay for, I guess, and I’m glad I finally made the trip.
Unfortunately, our stay had quite a few issues. The shower only worked when the hand wash tap was turned on - something we had to figure out ourselves after multiple calls to staff, who weren’t able to offer a solution. The toilet was leaking from the moment we arrived and continued to do so throughout our stay, despite being reported. We were told it would be fixed the next day, but no one followed up.
The room itself was very small, and the bedside table was broken, so we couldn’t use it. The plug sockets were set awkwardly low into the panelling, which made it difficult to plug in larger items - I had to hold my plug in with my foot while straightening my hair. There was also only one mirror, located in the bathroom, so we had to take turns getting ready.

Always nice and clean and the rooms have everything you need for a short stay.
Upon arrival the drains in the sink/toilet were smelling. We had to keep running water and make sure the bathroom door was shut.
You could only turn the TV on and off my going to the TV as the remote didn't turn it on or off. The back of the remote was also missing.
Wardrobe mirror very low so hard to see anything full length.

We had an initial issue and the owner bent over backwards to sort it out for us. She was kind and helpful and clearly takes great pride in her business. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated and great location. Was very good value for money. We will stay again .
If you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you as steep
stairs up to the front door and slot of stairs in the hotel but they own Another hotel two roads up which is ideal .

Most the fixtures were hanging off the wall, the toilet kept leaking, the window wouldn’t close entirely, damp in the bed base, room door wouldn’t close properly most the time, desk falling apart. The only two sockets available in the room were too low so you couldn’t actually plug anything into the wall, the only sockets were away from anything so you couldn’t boil the kettle without it being on the floor.

Not much going for it unfortunately, it was clean aside from the holes in the flooring.
The bed in the room either wasn't put together properly, or was broken and no one had bothered to fix it properly, the spaces in the slats were uneven and werent fixed in place and so leaning the wrong way meant falling through holes in the middle of the night. One of two fans in the room did not work. The bathroom for the room is on a separate floor which is annoying but advertised. The lock boxes for the keys are crappy and difficult to use. Plug sockets were in bad places. Holes in the flooring. I'm used to roughing it out a bit in cheap hotels but paying over 100 a night for a room without a functioning bed is ridiculous. The bare minimum.
