The hotel has a lovely warm welcoming feeling and a charming bohemian influenced brighton style - loved it. We had a very large room with a sea view. Great location with bars and restaurants in the same street. I’d stay there again even though I live six miles away!

Staff are amazing, I've had only the best interactions with them, and that involved me complaining about the room - resolved without any issues.
I was there during the storm Austin and the west facing room with a crack in the window was a nightmare. I was offered a different room when I requested a swap.

Location was perfect and the staff we had on arrival were really friendly.
Cleanliness issue with our original room was resolved immediately and moved to one that was clean and spotless throughout.
Bed was comfortable and it was a quiet stay.
The first room we were given didn’t have a clean bathroom as still a full bin and someone’s dirty towel on the back of the door. There was also no toilet roll.

The hotel is located just in front of the beach with a stunning view of the ancient pier (if you take the room with sea view of course). The staff is very nice and helpful. The old fashioned feeling of the whole building is charming.
The room we got was very large, which was pleasant when we arrived.
The windows are so old that the airstream goes through it, which lets the noise of the sea and traffic get into the room. But more than that, one of the window has its mechanism deeply damaged and therefore could not even stay closed, so because of the wind it was constantly moving and making noise.
There is no radiator in the bathroom so the room is much colder than the rest of the suite.
The quality of the breakfast is not great, as it includes essentially industrial food, with too much sugar, not very authentic, at least compared to many other good experiences we had along our trip.
