The room was very comfortable. Not an issue for us but lots of stairs, not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Shower was horrendous. Either freezing cold or boiling hot with no way to balance it out.

Arrived whole building covered in scaffolding blocking the see view room, paid almost £300 the windows were so dirty probably wouldn’t have seen the sea anyway. Was there for 6mins the most booked into travel lodge. It is nothing like the pictures advertised very upset as it was husband’s birthday I will be asking for a refund
Everything looks nothing like the pictures advertised

No windows it had a skylight , at 4-30 in the morning we were woken by lots and lots of pigeons that would no go away , they would come back every 10 mins so I’m guessing they have a nest above the lower roof where we stayed in room 3 , seriously get a net so they can’t get there , scaffolding back and front of biulding , paid £130 for one night it’s worth £40

It’s close to the pier and the town
The place was small, dirty and uncared for and very noisy. You could hear every door being shut or slammed Traffic outside as there was no double glazing work was taken place in the building so had scaffolding all around it. The dirt and the dust had travelled into the rooms due to windows being left open overall it was a very bad experience and a waste of money. Parking outside on the hotel property with limited and a hidden charge of £20 per day to park there. What an absolute joke avoid this place.

Pleasant
The location was right on the beach and the Dome so perfect for why we were there.
Room was so small there was hardly room to move.
Couldn't have the window and blind open in the morning because there was a man on the scaffolding right outside our window.
Wall paint was coming off.
The door was really squeaky to the bathroom and the shower was so small I'm 5'10 so had to bend my knees to fit in.

the location is great. the property went through recent internal rennovation so the rooms are freshly painted
the whole building is getting rennovation of the external walls, no room has a sea view currently, but the "builders view" instead. The cement dust from outside works is on the bench under the window, so you get dirty if you touch this area or put your bag there. you definitely cannot sit there or use as a table without cleaning all first from the cement dust.

Nice property near the seafront. Short walk to main part of Brighton.
When we stated, the property had scaffolding up so our sea view was almost non existent. I appreciate work had to be done but this could have been communicated before we booked. There was dust everywhere in the room, a very thick layer on all surfaces. This was probably from the scaffolders/workers but more care should have been taken to clean the room before our arrival.

Great position
When rooms are ready I am sure will be lovely.
Manager seemed pleasant
Big let down. I entered my room to inhale very strong paint smell. Couldn’t open window - Had to ask staff member who came and wedged it open whilst I was told to ‘stand outside’ . Simply awful breathing it in , staff offered air freshener ( I want to breath the sea air not air freshener!) feel a discount would have been more appropriate or for the hotel to mention they are painting ie on booking.com. And - the balcony had scaffolding all down it - obstructing my sea view . I mentioned this was disappointing, I couldn’t believe it the next day there were men working on the balcony , painting away in front of me !! ( With the occasional crude remark ) Had to keep my blinds down obviously . Would have loved to have sat and looked out at the sea not awkwardly at the painters right in front of me ( 30 year old young woman here) I also got paint dust all over my coat and skirt . No wardrobe or rail for clothes no table or chair . ( no body wash sink hard to use and only had hot water in shower on second morning!) I don’t mean to have a go at anyone but if a room is not ready it’s not and no one wants to be breathing in strong paint in their room on their holiday ! Feel at least a discount should have been offered!!

Poor
location to the seafront
room too small, bed was very uncomfortable, wiring to lights do not meet wiring regulations, electrical socket dodgy nearly melted the wife phone charger, TV not working, scaffolding at the front of the building which made parking tricky, back end of the car hanging into the pavement, had traffic warden trying to give us a ticket. plus we had to pay £20 per night for this so called parking space. also the so called sea view was blocked by the scaffolding and dirty windows. curtains not hanging correctly. The drainage for the shower not working very well. the shower basin soon filled with water then started over the sides.

Poor
Close to the seafront
Had to park in a very small parking space which we paid £20 for and had to climb out the car window to get out of the car. One room had no lock or ability to shut the bathroom door correctly, the other room did not have any towels provided and when we realised there were no staff around to help. If the toilet is flushed, there is no running water for a few minutes after.
