Fabulous location, very grand making it an extra special stay. Very spacious clean room with perfect view
My only thing I disliked and it’s very minor is check in is not until 4pm so if you are only staying the one night as we did seems a very short trip as had to be out by 11am

Clean room nicely presented.
I noticed that unfortunately despite booking early. The price I paid was significantly inflated to what the room price was nearer to my stay. I had no intention of refund as I was till happy to pay the price. I called reception asking if anything of good will could be offered to enhance our stay given this. I was told in a very bland style that as I had booked through booking.com they wouldn’t be offering anything. It was clear the reason was solely based on booking through a 3rd party. The room, was an inland. Beautiful inside. However outside our fogged out window was a noisy AC unit which delivered a dull drone throughout the day and night. Which was tough to settle into a good sleep under. I was surprised this was the case in what is a very nice hotel.

The location on the coast line is exceptional ,the stuff are pleasant and helpful ,the food was very good and even at the after hours the 24/7 room service was pleasant .If you have a car it has an valet indoors parking .
We arrived 24/10 on an expected big storm ,we were freezing cold and soaking wet ,what do you need after that ?A hot shower …no hot water …some heating ?No heating …some A/C ?Didn’t work …Flush the toilet perhaps ? Didn’t work … and you are wondering around the room naked to change into dry clothes and there is a knock on the door and before you have time to put clothes on or to answer ..boom the receptionist opens the door and gets a free glimpse …! After two complimentary drinks (not cocktails) you head back to the room and …the key won’t open the door ! The stuff tried hard to deal with all the work load and all the mishaps of the storm but as the say “The great captain can deal with any storm” and I just spend a couple of days and 1000£ with restaurant and bar bill without being compensated at all apart from the hotel stuff and two …simple drinks . Luckily we are generally happy people we just didn’t enjoy our stay due to the circumstances.
