Reception staff were extremely welcoming and on the Sunday for breakfast the waiter was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed the weekend of 28th/29th . I believe the gentleman was Italian, hotels need more staff like him.

Very Good
The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit. It’s great that this hotel is pet friendly and was very accommodating for our dog. He was very pampered by the staff and guests.
At dinner on the first night, we were accidentally served broccoli with butter and then broccoli with nuts, after stating the nut and dairy intolerance. However, the staff took very good care of our needs and subsidised the food bill. This was very considerate. The wellbeing check the following morning was appreciated. The staff were overall very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Ash (duty manager?) and to Maorow, for their attentive hospitality.
The concierge and valet were also very professional and prompt in their service.
Thank you!
The pillows were uncomfortable :(
It would have been helpful to have some more towel / robe hooks in the bathroom.
Upon arrival, There was a dead fly in the bathroom in room 408 and an opened packet of sweetener by the bedside table.
I booked 2 identical rooms for the same cost but room 408 was a lot bigger than room 406, which was a shame. 408 had a sofa, dressing table and plenty more space. 406 was smaller and without sofa, space.

Disappointing
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom top notch.
Staff were very pleasant
The room was very small and noisy. It was at the back of the building looking out onto a wall and above the air-conditioning machines.
The TV was very difficult to operate and almost impossible to turn off. There were no written instructions in the room, so I called reception for help.
The breakfast was not bad, except the bacon tasted off, the black pudding was dry, and the freshly-made poached eggs were hard!
The sausages were tasty, and beans are beans.

Very Good
Location was exceptional. Decor was luxurious and didn’t feel too corporate. Fantastic room and sea view.
The breakfast service was poor. It was rushed and impersonal. I expected service at the table in a 5* hotel — just for tea and coffee, happy to have breakfast buffet. We had to queue at a machine for tea. Seems critical but it was expensive!

Room was extremely well appointed. We had the breakfast buffet which was very good and ate dinner at the hotel. Overall the experience was of a very high quality.

Fair
Breakfast range extensive - plenty of choise.
Inward facing rooms are dark, gloomy and very noisy from hum of kitchens below. Changed room twice to avoid the exterior noise, which most inward facing rooms are exposed to. Accepted a 'complimentary upgrade' where the room had no clear daylight and face an interior brick wall. Had no idea of weather or exterior conditions.
The bar was excessively expensive. Two single of the cheaper shorts was £15!!
